Deactivated na ang lahat ng social media accounts ni Brandon.
Sentro ngayon ng mga pagpuna at panglalait ang Filipino-American model/entrepreneur/pageant winner dahil sa kanyang maanghang na pahayag noong Miyerkules, Hunyo 10.
Buwelta ni Brandon sa isang netizen na kinuwestiyon ang hindi niya pagkanta ng Tagalog song sa isang pagtitipon, samantalang Pilipinas ang ni-represent niya sa sinalihang international male pageant: “tell that to all the front runners for the Philippines. This country wouldn’t have a chance on the national stage withous us halfies.”
Ang tila may diskriminasyong salita na binitiwan ni Brandon ang dahilan kaya itinakwil siya bilang brand endorser at ng mga kompanyang may kaugnayan sa kanya.

MASS UNFOLLOWING
Ramdam na ramdam ni Brandon ang galit at ganti ng mga Pilipinog na-offend sa inasal niya dahil sa mabilis na pagbaba ng bilang ng kanyang social media followers.
Noong Hunyo 10, 8:16 P.M., may 209K Instagram followers si Brandon.
Pero noong Hunyo 11, 8:40 P.M., bumagsak sa 198K ang bilang ng mga sumusubaybay sa kanya.
Ganito rin ang nangyari sa Facebook page niya.
Naging pabor kay Brandon ang deactivation na ginawa nito sa kanyang mga social media account.
Bukod sa nakatitiyak si Brandon na hindi na mababawasan ang bilang ng followers niya, magkakaroon siya ng pansamantalang kapayapaan mula sa mapang-uring salita at pagbabanta ng netizens.
Gaya ni Brandon, malaki ang nabawas sa Instagram followers ni Mister Pilipinas Global 2025 Jether Palomo, na biktima rin ng cancel culture dahil sa palitan nila ni Brandon ng mga mensahe.
Mula sa 222K Instagram followers noong Hunyo 10, bumaba sa 213K ngayong Hunyo 12 ang mga sumusubaybay sa account ni Jether.

JETHER PALOMO APOLOGIZES ANEW
Burado na ang lahat ng IG post ni Jether maliban sa kopya ng kanyang panibagong public apology na inilabas noong Huwebes, Hunyo 11.
Dito ay ipinaliwanag ni Jether ang pinagmulan ng usapan nila ni Brandon sa social media na lumikha ng matinding kontrobersiya.
Saad niya: “I would like to address the recent issue and speak directly from my heart.
“Two days ago, I attended a friend’s birthday with friends from different parts of the world. We were asked to sing a song from our native language. It was a lighthearted moment that we enjoyed together and later shared on social media.
“In response to that post, I commented, 'I pledge allegiance to the flag [US flag].'
“I was born in the United States and at the time, I viewed it as a playful nod to that.
"I now understand that my words caused hurt and I take full responsibility for them.
“For that I sincerely apologize. Intent doesn’t erase impact. I understand why some people were disappointed and I own that completely.
“I am a full Filipino who was born in the United States. I am proud of where I was born but I am equally proud of my Filipino heritage.
"I owe so much to this country and representing the Philippines has been one of the greatest privileges of my life something I do not take for granted.
“Thank you for those who took the time to express your concerns. This experience has given me the opportunity to reflect, learn and grow.
“Moving forward, I will strive the be more mindful of the platform I have been given and the responsibility that comes with it.
"Thank you for your grace for an imperfect person like me."
