Tumangging magsalita si Anne Curtis tungkol sa isyu ng "halfies" na kinasangkutan ng male pageant winners na sina Brandon Espiritu at Jether Palomo.
Pero iginiit ng Filipino-Australian actress na ipinagmamalaki niya ang pagiging Filipino.
“I don’t even wanna comment on it,” sabi ni Anne nang tanungin tungkol sa nabanggit na usapin nang humarap siya sa mga miyembro ng entertainment press noong Huwebes, Hunyo 18, 2026.
“I am proud to be a halfie, but I’m also very proud of my Filipino roots.
“This is my home. This is where I choose to be.
"Everyone has their own opinion but for me, I will always be proud to be Filipino.
“Whenever I’m on global stage, I’m representing the Philippines.
"When I’m invited, the seat is for the Philippines, so I’m always proud.
“When they ask me, 'Where are you from?' ’The Philippines!’
"I will always be proud of that."
Dagag pa niya: "Kanya-kanya naman yan, e. It’s up to them.
"But for me, personally, as halfie, yes, I’m also proud of being half-Australian, which was my dad’s part of me.
"But I’m also very to be Filipino kaya ako nandito,”

BUYBUST: THE UNDESIRABLES
Ang shooting ng series na BuyBust: The Undesirables ang isa sa mga dahilan kaya hindi madalas napapanood si Anne sa noontime show na It’s Showtime.
Tatlong taon na ang nakalilipas mula nang umpisahan ang shooting ng BuyBust.
Masayang ibinalita ni Anne na tatlong araw na lang, tapos na ang trabaho niya para sa nabanggit na proyektong mula sa direksiyon ni Erik Matti at mapapanood sa Netflix.
Lahad niya: “I’m back in my action era, but it’s a totally different story from what you’ve seen in the film [2018].
"Yung film kasi nangyari lang yan, isang gabi. Ito, it’s a nine-episode series, but it’s a totally different world.
“We’ve been working on it siguro mga three years na. I mean, sobrang pagod na kasi siyempre action.
"Pero when I see the preview, sabi ko, grabe, sobrang ganda, sobrang worth it.
“And I can’t wait for the world to see it. Malapit na malapit na.”

ANNE CURTIS ON MEETUP WITH BEA ALONZO
Ibinahagi rin ni Anne ang pagkikita nila ni Bea Alonzo noong Miyerkules, Hunyo 17.
“I was also with Bea yesterday. Twenty years na rin yung Maging Sino Ka Man.
“So, napag-usapan namin na parang, ‘Uy, mag-reunion naman tayo. Pag-usapan natin.’
"It would be so nice to work with Bea again too.”
Nagkasama sina Anne at Bea sa Maging Sino Ka Man, ang primetime drama series ng ABS-CBN na napanood mula Oktubre 9, 2006 hanggang Mayo 25, 2007.
