Hindi nagkakalayo ang matinding problema sa masikip na sitwasyon ng trapiko sa Bangkok, Thailand, at sa Metro Manila.
Gumagamit din ng app-based motorcycle taxi ang Thai celebrities, gaya ng superstar na si Nadech Kugimiya, para makarating agad sila sa mga lugar na pupuntahan.
Nagkaroon ng kontrobersya sa paggamit ni Nadech ng app-based motorcycle taxi dahil, lingid sa kaalaman niya, kinunan siya ng rider ng video at in-upload nito sa Facebook.
Tumanggap ng mga batikos ang rider dahil makikita sa video clip ang ruta papunta sa tahanan ni Nadech.
Labis na nabahala ang kanyang mga tagahanga para sa kaligtasan at privacy ng aktor.

NADECH'S MANAGER ASKED RIDER TO DELETE VIDEO CLIP
Agad na nagkomento sa mabilis na nag-viral na video clip ang manager ni Nadech na pinakiusapan ang rider na burahin nito ang video clip ng aktor na kinunan nang walang permiso.
Sa ulat ng Thaiger at ng DailyNews Thailand, sinabi ng manager ni Nadech sa Thai language na isinalin sa Ingles: “I’d like to ask if you could please delete this clip.
"Nadech wasn’t aware that he was being recorded throughout the journey, and the route shown in the video can be seen all the way to his home. It doesn’t seem very appropriate or safe.
“If you meet him again in the future, you’re welcome to take a photo or a short video, but please let him know first.
“In this clip, he wasn’t aware he was being filmed, and it shows the route back to his home throughout the journey.
“I’d really appreciate it if you could delete it. Thank you for supporting Nadech.”

Humingi ng paumanhin ang rider tungkol sa kanyang ginawa na pinagpistahan sa online.
Pinakiusapan din niya ang ibang nagbahagi ng video clip na burahin ito.
“I’d like to clarify the issue regarding Nadech. I have apologised to him and have already deleted the clip.
"As for other pages that reposted it showing my face, I did not give them permission to do so. Please delete the clip or any photos as well,” pakiusap ng rider.
Ayon sa DailyNews, paglabag sa Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act ang pagkuha ng larawan o video nang walang pahintulot ng mga pasahero.
Katulad ito ng batas na ipinatutupad sa Pilipinas, ang Republic Act No. 10173 ( Data Privacy Act of 2012).
