Kasama si Xian Lim sa mga estudyanteng nagmartsa sa graduation ceremony ng De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde sa Philippine International Convention Center nitong Sabado, Hulyo 4, 2026.
Mababakas sa kanyang mga larawan sa Instagram ang sobrang kasiyahan dahil sa edad 36, natanggap na niya sa wakas ang kanyang college diploma.
"More than proud, I feel grateful. Every achievement reminds me of the people who believed in me and the lessons I learned through failure.
"This graduation reminded me that growth never really stops,” ang sabi niya sa Cabinet Files.

XIAN LIM'S COURSE
Bachelor of Arts in Music Production ang kursong tinapos ni Xian sa pamamagitan ng Expanded Tertiary Education, Equivalency and Accreditation Program ( ETEEAP)
Ano kaya ang nasa isip ng actor-director nang gumising siya sa araw ng kanyang pagtatapos?
Sagot niya: "I woke up feeling grateful. For a long time, I thought this day would never come.
"More than 15 years akong hindi nakapag-aral, at akala ko, hindi ko na ulit matututukan ang education ko.
"Walking across that stage reminded me that it’s never too late to finish something you’ve always wanted to do.”
Bago pumasok si Xian sa showbiz ay kumuha siya ng Psychology sa Skyline College sa San Bruno, California, pero na-cut short ito dahil bumalik siya sa Pilipinas.
Sa Manila, nag-enroll siya sa University of the East bilang basketball scholar, pero naudlot ulit ang kanyang pagkokolehiyo dahil sa kanyang acting career.
Nag-umpisa noong Enero 2025 ang pag-aaral ni Xian.
Bakit yun ang napili niyang course?
"Music has always been part of my life,” sagot niya.
"I started playing the piano as a kid, and even while working in the entertainment industry, I was always writing and producing music.
"As a filmmaker, I also realized how powerful music is in telling stories, so I wanted to understand it on a much deeper level.”
Ano ang mga job opportunities para sa mga graduates ng Music Production course?
"Hopefully, I’ll get to score my own films one day. Aside from music production, this degree also opens opportunities in film scoring, songwriting, audio production, and creating music for television and digital platforms."

XIAN LIM'S COURSE
Hindi niya itinangging maraming siyang struggles at sacrifices.
"Balancing school with work was the hardest part. I had to turn down projects, miss vacations, and spend a lot of late nights studying.
"There were moments when I wanted to quit, but I kept reminding myself why I started. Anything worth achieving requires sacrifice.”
Kaya kung may mensahe man siya sa sarili para sa kanyang recent achievement, ito ay ang huwag susuko at magpatuloy lamang na matuto.
"Thank you for not giving up. Keep showing up. Stay curious. Stay humble.
"Never stop learning, and never stop becoming a better person.
"This graduation isn’t the finish line—it’s just the beginning of another chapter.”
Iniaalay raw niya ang kanyang college diploma sa inang si Mary Anne.
"She never stopped believing that I could finish school.
"I also dedicate it to my professors, mentors, classmates, and everyone who supported me along the way.
“And of course, to my eight-year-old self, who always dreamed big.”
Ano ang mga aabangan ng fans kay Xian?
"I’m excited about a few upcoming projects that I’ll be sharing soon. At the same time, I’m also focusing on developing new business ventures and creative ideas that I’m passionate about.
"Right now, it’s a season of building, learning, and creating."
Sa huli, paano niya nakikita ang sarili sampung taon mula ngayon?
“I hope people remember me as someone who never stopped learning, never stopped growing, and hopefully inspired others to do the same.”
