Ginunita noong Biyernes, Hulyo 17, 2026, ang ika-apatnapung araw (40 Days) na pagpanaw nina Rene Baterbonia at Divine Adili.
Sila ang kapwa Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles players na nalunod noong Hunyo 8 sa karagatan ng Dipaculao, Aurora.
Inilibing ang mga labi ni Rene sa municipal cemetery ng Talacogon, Agusan del Sur.
At noong Biyernes, sa pamamagitan ng isang Facebook post, inanyayahan ng kanyang nagdadalamhating ina na si Rovelyn na sadyain ng mga pupunta sa puntod ng anak ang booth ng Baterbonia Collections.
"Sa lahat nang pupunta sa puntod ni Rene, starting today po ay may booth po kami sa mga Baterbonia Collections.
“Naka-display po ang mga available products sa aming booth, if ever gusto niyo magkaroon ng mga collection of our late Rene Baterbonia. See you there po,” ang imbitasyon ni Rovelyn na nagpasalamat kay Rene dahil sa mga iniwan nito na alaala.
Sinabi ni Rovelyn na kailangan na nito na tanggapin na wala na ang katawan ni Rene, pero hindi mawawala sa puso niya ang pagmamahal para sa sumakabilang-buhay na anak.
Kalmado na si Rovelyn na ibang-ibang sa madamdamin na pamamaalam niya sa araw ng libing ni Rene noong Hunyo 24.
Marami ang kinilabutan sa panaghoy noon ni Rovelyn na huwag patulugin ni Rene ang mga dapat managot sa pagkamatay nito.

HOLY MASS FOR RENE BATERBONIA AND DIVINE ADILI
Isang banal na misa naman para sa ika-apatnapung araw ng pamamaalam nina Rene at Divine sa mundo ang idinaos sa Ateneo de Manila University noong Biyernes.
Pinangunahan ito ni University President Fr.Roberto Yap, ayon sa pahayag na ibinahagi ng pamunuan ng unibersidad.
"Today, the Ateneo de Manila University community gathered for a Holy Mass, presided over by University President Fr. Roberto C. Yap, SJ, to mark the 40th day since the passing of our beloved Blue Eagles, Rene Baterbonia and Divine Adili.
"In his homily, Fr. Bobby shared that forty days is not merely a measure of time, but a period of trial, reflection, and renewal.
"For the Ateneo community, it has also been a time of grief and remembrance.
"Inspired by his reminder that ‘Even after 40 days, we are not moving on,’ we continue to grieve and accompany the families of Rene and Divine in their journey of mourning.
"We also remain committed to providing support to those affected by this tragedy, cooperating with the authorities, and continuing our ongoing institutional response and review efforts.
"Fr. Bobby also announced the establishment of the Blue Eagle Athletic Scholarship Funds in honor of Rene and Divine.
"We hope these scholarships will ensure that their names, their spirit, and the values they embodied continue to inspire and support future generations of Ateneo student-athletes.
"Today’s observance is not the end of our journey, but another step in it.
"May we all continue to honor the memory of Rene and Divine not only through our prayers, but also through our shared commitment to action."
