Defamation ang kasong inihain ni Miss Grand International Organization President Nawat Itsaragrisil laban kay Miss Universe 2025 Fatima Bosch.
Idinaos ang koronasyon ng 74th Miss Universe noong Nobyembre 21, 2025 sa Nonthaburi,Thailand, at si Nawat ang presidente ng host committee.
Bago napanalunan ni Fatima ang korona at titulo, nagkaroon ng isyu sa pagitan nila ni Nawat kaya naghain ang Thai pageant organizer ng criminal case.
Muling napag-usapan ang demanda laban kay Fatima dahil sa Instagram story post ni Nawat.
Sa isang Instagram Story, sinabi ni Nawat na sumasailalim umano si Fatima sa expedited process para sa posibleng pag-isyu ng arrest warrant laban dito.
Nakasaad sa kanyang post: “'FATIMA BOSCH' is currently subject to an expedited process for the issuance of an arrest warrant in connection with a case involving defamation, false allegations, and the dissemination of false information supported by clear evidence.”
Dahil dito, muling naging sentro ng atensiyon ang legal dispute nina Nawat at Bosch na nag-ugat sa insidenteng namagitan sa kanila sa mga aktibidad ng Miss Universe 2025 sa Thailand.

FATIMA BOSCH SPEAKS OUT
Ngayong Linggo, Agosto 23, 2026, naglabas si Fatima ng pahayag sa wikang Espanyol bilang tugon sa social media post ni Nawat.
Sa kanyang pahayag, iginiit ni Fatima na hindi niya pinagsisisihan ang pagtindig para sa kanyang sarili sa kabila ng patuloy na epekto umano ng insidente.
Narito ang English translation ng kanyang pahayag: “Today, it’s my turn to tell this story; My wish is that no woman will have to live through it tomorrow.
“It is deeply troubling that, in the 21st century, a woman can face attempts at intimidation simply for raising her voice, setting boundaries, and demanding to be treated with dignity and respect.
“I do not regret standing up for myself that day. Although it continues to have repercussions months later, if there is one thing I want other women to learn from my story, it is this: standing up for your dignity should never be a reason to be afraid.
“No threat should make us back down in the fight for a world where women can raise their voices without fear of retaliation.
“The whole world saw what happened that day.It was all recorded. There is nothing more to say.”

MISS UNIVERSE ORGANIZATION SUPPORTS FATIMA BOSCH
Naglabas din ng official statement ang Miss Universe Organization ngayong Agosto 23 upang ipahayag ang suporta kay Fatima at bigyang-diin ang kanilang paninindigan para sa dignidad at kaligtasan ng mga kababaihan.
Ang pahayag ay pinamagatang “Statement in Support of Fatima Bosch and the Dignity of Women.”
Nakasaad dito: “We raise our voices together.In support of Fátima Bosch and the dignity of women.
“Bosch and every woman who chooses to stand with confidence, dignity, and purpose.
“Miss Universe has always believed in the power of women to use their voices, support one another, and create meaningful change.
“Today and always, we stand for a world where every woman feels seen, heard, respected, and empowered.
“Because at Miss Universe, empowering women is not just what we stand for , it is who we are.”
"More than a stage, a crown, or a competition."
Binigyang-diin ng Miss Universe Organization na higit pa sa isang pageant ang Miss Universe. Isa raw itong global community para sa mga kababaihang nais gamitin ang kanilang boses at platform para sa makabuluhang layunin.
“Miss Universe has always been more than a stage, a crown, or a competition. At its heart, it is a global community of women: women from different countries, cultures, and generations who have found in this platform an opportunity to be seen, to be heard, and to use their voices with purpose.
“Today, we raise those voices together.Violence, intimidation, humiliation, disrespect, and mistreatment of women, in any of their forms, are unacceptable. No woman should ever feel that she must remain silent to protect an opportunity, a position, title, or a dream.”
Direktang binanggit din ng organisasyon ang umano’y treatment na naranasan ni Fatima mula kay Nawat.
“When Fátima Bosch raised her voice in defense of her dignity following the trecatment she experienced from Mr. Nawat Itsaragrisil, she reminded women everywhere of something fundamental: respect is not something ne earn throngh silence. It is a right.
“And when other women stood beside her, they reminded us of something equally powerful: we must takc care of one another.”

Ayon sa Miss Universe Organization, nagkaisa ang iba't ibang titleholders, national directors, dating Miss Universe winners, delegates, at iba pang kababaihang naging bahagi ng organisasyon upang ipakita ang kanilang suporta kay Fatima.
“Across generations and continents, titleholders, National Directors, former Miss Universe winners, delegates and women who have been part of this Organization raise their voices in solidarity with Fátima and against any conduct that seeks to humiliate, intimidate, diminish, or silence a woman.
“This is not about nationality, competition, titles, or crowns.This is about dignity.”
Nanawagan din ang organisasyon na gawing konkretong aksiyon ang konsepto ng women supporting women.
“Women supporting women cannot simply be a phrase, It must be a commitment to listen, to protect, to stanc beside one another, and to speak when silence would allow mistreatment to continue.”
"Standing up for herself will never mean standing alone."
Ipinahayag din ng Miss Universe Organization ang commitment nitong lumikha ng environment kung saan maaaring magsalita ang mga kababaihan nang walang pangamba.
