Nagluluksa ang ilang kilalang entertainment personalities sa pagpanaw ng seasoned concert producer na si Susan Lim, na binawian ng buhay sa Amerika noong Setyembre 14, 2026.
Kabilang sa mga nagbigay-pugay kay Susan sina Pops Fernandez, Martin Nievera, Roderick Paulate, at datingSex Bomb member na si Cynthia Yapchingco.
Si Cynthia ana asawa ng pumanaw na concert producer.
Bagamat U.S,-based na si Susan, patuloy siyang nagpo-produce ng mga concert ng Filipino talents sa Amerika.
Para sa mga hindi nakakaalam, si Susan ang may idea sa matagumpay na SexBomb reunion concert, na nagsimula noong Disyembre 2025 sa Smart Araneta Coliseum bago ito inilunsad sa iba’t ibang lugar sa Amerika.
Siya rin ang masasabing arkitekto sa concert sa Pilipinas ng King of Pop na si Michael Jackson noong 1996 at ng F4 noong 2003.
Walang ibang detalye na ibinigay ang mga malalapit kay Susan tungkol sa dahilan ng kanyang pagkamatay.
SUSAN LIM’S LEGACY IN CONCERT PRODUCTION
Kasal si Susan kay Cynthia.
Nagpakasal ang dalawa sa Amerika kung saan legal ang same-sex marriage.
Sa Facebook post ng dating SexBomb member, ibinahagi niya ang sakit na nararamdaman sa pagkawala ng asawa.
“No words could ever capture what she meant to me… or the heartbreak of saying goodbye.
"May the love and beautiful memories you shared bring comfort through the pain, and may her light remain with us always,” nagluluksang pahayag ni Cynthia.

POPS FERNANDEZ LOOKS BACK ON FRIENDSHIP WITH SUSAN LIM
Nagbalik-tanaw naman si Pops Fernandez sa kanilang matagal nang pagkakaibigan ni Susan at sa mga alaala nila sa concert production.
Pagbabahagi ng Concert Queen: “It took me a while to write this because, honestly, I’m still trying to understand what happened. Maybe this is my way of saying goodbye to a dear friend.
"I met Susan when she was fresh out of college. Even then, you could already see how much she loved what she did.
"Producing concerts wasn’t just her work—it was her passion. She had this incredible courage to take on things that seemed impossible, and somehow, she would make them happen."
Kabilang sa mga hindi malilimutan ni Pops ang concert ni Michael Jackson, na aniya’y naging posible dahil kay Susan.
“I have memories of the concerts Susan produced, but one that will always stay with me was the Michael Jackson concert.
"Many may not know that it happened because of Susan.
"We all stood in the mud at the reclaimed area, where MOA now stands, just to witness the King of Pop.
"Looking back, that was so Susan—bold enough to dream big and crazy enough to actually make it happen.”
Binanggit din ni Pops ang iba pang naging bahagi ng legacy ni Susan sa industriya.
“From F4 (during the peak of the Meteor Garden), to bringing Filipino artists around the US, and recently the series of SexBomb concerts, Susan left her mark on the industry.
"But for me, her greatest legacy will always be the people she touched along the way,” saad ng singer.
Bukod sa pagiging producer, naalala rin ni Pops ang personalidad at pagiging maalaga ni Susan sa mga kaibigan niya.
Paglalarawan ni Pops: “She was loud—really loud—but in the funniest, most lovable way.
"She could disappear for months, then suddenly check on you as if no time had passed.
"That was Susan. She had her own way of making people feel that they mattered.
“I fondly called her my ‘Chinese Boss.’ She was not just someone I worked with, but she was a friend.
“I will never forget the laughter, the memories, and the friendship."
Dagdag ni Pops: “To everyone who knew Susan, let’s take a moment to say a prayer for her.
“Thank you, Chinese Boss, for everything. You will always be remembered, and you will always have a special place in our hearts.
"Rest in peace, Susan Lim."

MARTIN NIEVERA REMEMBERS SUSAN LIM
Nag-react naman si Martin Nievera sa social media post ng kanyang ex-wife na si Pops tungkol sa biglaang pagpanaw ni Susan.
“I am so glad you posted this, Pipay, ’cause I don’t see anything coming out, and it’s really bothering me. Susan deserved better than this…” reaksiyon ng Concert King.
Bukod sa pagiging concert producer, naging malapit daw niyang kaibigan si Susan at isa siya sa mga taong naniwala sa kanilang career.
Ani Martin: “She was one of a kind and such a generous person. She also believed in both of us so much that she helped revive our tandem and took us on a US tour—more than once, if I am not mistaken.”
Binalikan din ni Martin ang una niyang alaala kay Susan, noong bata pa ito at pumunta sa kanilang opisina dala ang pangarap na makapag-produce ng show para sa kanilang school.
“But my first memory of her was of a very young Susan in her school uniform coming to our office with the hope that she could be the first to produce a show for me for their school.
"And she did. And she was.
"Ever since that day, Susan has never left our corner.”
Ibinahagi rin ni Martin kung paano niya nakita si Susan bilang isang producer at kaibigan.
“Such unforgettable memories. And as a producer, she never did us wrong. Never. She would tell you like it is, even if it hurts.”
Sa kabila ng mahabang karera ni Susan bilang concert producer, sinabi ni Martin na mas nais niyang maalala ito bilang isang kaibigan.
“Whatever this is, and however we got to this sad day, I want to remember Susan not as a concert producer, but more as my dear friend whom I will miss very much.
"Even though we were always far away from each other, we always remained close.
"And now she will be the furthest away from us she has ever been, and I pray she is at peace," saad ni Martin.
Nanawagan din siya sa mga nakakakilala kay Susan na ibahagi ang kanilang mga alaala tungkol dito.
“To all those who knew and loved her, please come out and tell the world.
"In fact, this is a practice we all should do while we are all still breathing and are only a stone’s throw away from each other.”
Sa huli, nagpaabot si Martin ng kanyang pakikiramay kay Pops at tuluyang nagpaalam sa kanyang kaibigan.
“I cry with you, Pipay. Susan was a good person and was always good to us.
"Rest na, Susan. We give you now a well-deserved standing ovation as you now go on your new journey. [praying emojis]”

RODERICK PAULATE REMEMBERS SUSAN
Nagbigay rin ng emosyonal na mensahe si Roderick Paulate, na tinawag si Susan na "isang tunay na kaibigan."
“Mahal kita, Sansu. Isang kaibigang tunay. Gusto kitang awayin… Ang sakit sa puso. Sabi mo walang iwanan,” madamdaming mensahe ni Roderick sa pagpanaw ng kanyang kaibigan.
