“Nakakatuwa and nakakahiya at the same time! That’s such a huge compliment, especially because Heidi Klum really takes Halloween to another level every year,” pahayag ni Andrea sa Cabinet Files tungkol sa mga nagsasabing siya ang Philippine counterpart ni Heidi.
“But I’m also just happy that people look forward to what we’re going to do. I genuinely love Halloween, so hindi naman siya ginagawa just because I feel like I have to top the previous year.
"I think the fun part is always asking, ‘What haven’t we done yet?’
“If people see me as the ‘Queen of Halloween,’ thank you! Pressure siya, pero good pressure.
"It makes me and my team even more excited to keep experimenting, transforming, and hopefully surprising everyone every year,” dagdag ng aktres.

TABLOID NAKEDNESS HALLOWEEN LOOK

“The theme of the party was LUCID: Dreams and Nightmares, so I wanted each look to somehow connect to the idea of dreams, fears, and things that happen in our subconscious.
“We had several concepts, but one idea that really stuck was that very common nightmare na bigla kang nasa public place and you realize you’re completely naked.
“I think a lot of girls can relate to that fear! From there, Mama Eldzs and I thought, what if we actually turn that nightmare into a fashion moment?
“We used newspapers as part of the look to give it that tabloid feel and make it more campy and theatrical.

FIVE HOURS TO ACHIEVE THE NAKED ILLUSION
“Almost five hours in total yung whole transformation, including the prosthetics, glam, body makeup, and styling with all the newspaper details,” sagot ni Andrea.
“Days before the event, we also did a cast of my body so the prosthetics could be customized to my exact shape and look as seamless and realistic as possible.
“On the day itself, we used airbrush makeup on my body to blend everything together. Sobrang detailed talaga because the goal was to create the illusion that I was naked without actually revealing anything.”
“Probably having to stand for almost five hours! I couldn’t really sit down or move around too much because we didn’t want to create creases or wrinkles sa prosthetics.
“Malamig din the whole time because I couldn’t wear regular clothes while they were applying the prosthetics and body makeup, so it was definitely a test of patience.
"But once I saw the finished look, worth it naman!”

MONTHS OF PREPARATION FOR HALLOWEEN
Saad niya: “I really, really love Halloween.
"It’s always been such a fun creative outlet for me because even when I was younger, I loved dressing up, transforming, and playing different characters.
“I work closely with Mama Eldzs and our creative team in developing the looks and figuring out how we can push each idea further.
“Some concepts take months to prepare, while some ideas have actually been in my head for years!
"Minsan may costume na gusto ko nang gawin for the longest time, pero hinihintay ko lang yung perfect event, theme, or moment for it.
“For me, Halloween isn’t just about wearing a costume. I really enjoy the whole process of becoming somebody or something completely different for one night.”
ANDREA BRILLANTES' MOST CHALLENGING HALLOWEEN LOOKS
“Honestly, challenging silang lahat in different ways,” ani Andrea.
“I actually thought this year would be simpler compared to my previous Halloweens, but most of my looks this year relied heavily on transformation and realism.
“With characters like Charlie Chaplin and Marilyn Monroe, people already know exactly what they look like, so every little detail matters. You can’t really hide anything.
“Then with Carrie and Tabloid Nakedness, there were completely different technical and creative challenges.
"So even if some of the costumes looked simpler at first, they actually required so much attention to detail behind the scenes.”
