Saad ng pamilya ni Ate Gay: “To our dear family, friends, neighbors, fans, and everyone who has loved and supported Gil Morales, fondly known as Ate Gay, we would like to inform you that his wake will be held at Forest Lake, Biñan, Laguna.
“We sincerely apologize for the late announcement. Over the past few days, our family has been attending to his remaining hospital bills and making the necessary funeral arrangements.
“As much as we would have wanted to hold Ate Gay's wake within his community, where he was known and loved by many, our current financial circumstances have made it difficult for us to do so. We sincerely ask for your understanding.
“Above all, we thank God for His guidance and for sending people who have shown us kindness during one of the most difficult times of our lives.
“We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Forest Lake for generously providing the funeral services, and other necessities.
"At a time when our family needed help the most, you were there for us. Your kindness and generosity have lifted a tremendous burden from our family, and we will forever be grateful.”
