Unlike Michele Gumabao, hindi showbiz personality si Eva Patalinjug kaya hindi masyadong pinag-uusapan ang pagsali nito sa Miss Grand International 2018 na magaganap ang final show sa October 25, 2018 sa The One Entertainment Park sa Yangon, Myanmar.
Si Eva ang official candidate ng Pilipinas sa Miss Grand International at si Michele ang representative ng ating bansa sa Miss Globe 2018, na mauunang idaos ang coronation night sa L’ Ampitheatre de Tirana sa Tirana, Albania, sa October 21, 2018.
Kasama ang national costume ni Eva sa Top 10 ng Best National Costume Competition.
Hinihingi niya ang suporta ng mga Pilipino para iboto at, hopefully, manalo ang kanyang Pearl of the Orient Seas-inspired costume na collaboration nina Philipp Piezas (gown), Roy Erwin Tizon (headdress), at Christopher Munar (earrings).
Dapat magsanib-puwersa ang mga kababayan natin sa pagboto kay Eva para manalo ito sa National Costume Competition dahil biktima siya ng mga batikos sa official social media accounts ng Miss Grand International.
Wagas ang mga panglalait ng ibang mga nationality sa costume ni Eva na tinawag nilang "horrible" at walang karapatan na makabilang sa Top 10 ng Best National Costume Competition ng Miss Grand International.
Naka-post sa Facebook account ni Eva ang paraan ng pagboto para mapansin siya sa beauty pageant na sinalihan niya:
