Anim na araw matapos niyang ma-confine sa ospital dahil sa kanyang critical condition, balik-trabaho si Richard para sa concert nila ni Ivy Violan sa isang casino sa Mandaluyong City noong Biyernes, January 11, 2019.
Malaki ang nabawas sa timbang ni Richard na nangayayat dahil sa kanyang karamdaman, pero hindi ito naging dahilan para sumuko siya sa pakikipaglaban.
Matapang na sinabi ng mahusay na singer na hindi niya ikinahihiya na amining nagkaroon siya ng problema sa pera kaya nagpapasalamat siya sa mga tao na nagbigay sa kanya ng trabaho.
“I was in ICU for two and a half days and six days in a regular room.
“I won’t be ashamed to admit that my hospital bills, doctors (professional fee), operation and medicines just kept on piling up,” pagtatapat ni Richard na pinasalamatan sina PAGCOR Chair Andrea Domingo, PAGCOR Entertainment Director Bong Quintana at ang mga producer na sina Sheila at Frank Mauricio dahil sa pagbibigay sa kanya ng show.
Higit sa lahat, pinasalamatan ni Richard ang Panginoong Diyos dahil sa pagmamahal at mga biyaya Nito na ibinigay sa kanya.
Humingi rin si Richard ng tawad sa lahat ng mga tao na kanyang nasaktan.
Aniya, “It’s just another year. What’s in my heart is to apologize to all the people I’ve done wrong to, people I’ve hurt.
“I am deeply sorry for all my mistakes. I assure you that I will change for the better in the remaining years of my life. Thank you for being so patient with me. May our dear God bless you always.”
Nalaman ng publiko ang health problems ni Richard dahil sa social media post noong December 28, 2018 ng kanyang kapatid, ang former actress at beauty queen na si Rachel Anne Wolfe.
Marami ang nagdasal para sa paggaling ni Richard nang isiwalat ni Rachel na naka-confine siya sa ICU ng Medical City.
“I believe that us Filipinos are very forgiving. My brother is once again in the midst of all things that can possibly destroy one’s life.
“His physical health is deteriorating and his mental and emotional health is very weak.
“He can’t seem to find strength and love from the most important people in his life.
“But the good news is, God is Good! And God doesn’t forsake. He forgives and heals.
“And my brother is trying to turn his life around. As the new year rings, I pray that he will get through all negativity that surrounds him and pray for the chance to be renewed once more,” bahagi ng rebelasyon ni Rachel tungkol sa health crisis na pinagdaraanan noon ng kanyang kapatid.
