Just A Stranger ang pamagat ng pelikulang pagbibidahan nina Anne Curtis, Marco Gumabao, at Edu Manzano.
Si Jason Paul Laxamana ang sumulat ng kuwento at siya rin ang direktor ng project na kukunan ang mga eksena sa Europe.
Ginana ang story conference ng Just A Stranger sa Viva Films board room kagabi, January 29.
Dito sinabi ni Anne ang nararamdamang excitement dahil magbabalik siya sa paggawa ng romance-drama movie.
Aniya, "We are all excited to be working on this film. I’m so happy to be going back the romance-drama genre.
"Nakaka-miss, like, last year I did horror, I did action, and I did like rom-com, so it’s nice to go back to romance drama."
Other woman ang karakter na gagampanan ni Anne sa Just A Stranger, pero nilinaw ni Laxamana na ibang klase ng other woman ang bibigyang-buhay ng TV host-actress.
"Balik-other woman si Anne but we have a different take sa project na ito.
"It’s not gonna be like the recent or the past other woman movies we have seen.
"This one is more subdued, I believe may gray area ang tina-tackle nito.
"Hindi siya yung other woman evil, hindi siya ganoon," paliwanag ni Laxamana.
Dagdag naman ni Anne, "It’s definitely a way of having a more mature role.
"I can say, especially with where I am with my personal life, so this is more relatable, I guess, to my age at the moment, which makes it a bit more different because I have more experience in life now.
"So when I first read the script with Direk JP, as in I loved the script immediately.
"I knew that I wanted to do this because I haven’t done it.
"Coming from three films last year, it’s like magpapahinga ba muna ako?
"But when a script like that falls into your lap, you don’t wanna let it go and it’s an amazing role and I cannot wait to share it with everyone."
Huling gumanap na other woman si Anne sa 2011 film na No Other Woman.
Ang Just A Stranger ang comeback movie ni Edu.
Sabi ng batikang aktor, "It’s interesting. Hindi ko pa nagagampanan ang role na 'to.
"I stopped making movies in 2004.
"With due respect to director Jason Paul Laxamana, when you do a film like Tanging Yaman [2000], it’s hard to beat that.
"It’s possible, this movie would be at par with Tanging Yaman."
(Technically, noong 2015 ay lumabas si Edu sa horror-thriller film na Halik Sa Hangin, kung saan bida sina Gerald Anderson, Julia Montes, at JC de Vera.)
