Mensahe ni Sharmaine sa kanyang Facebook post: "When I read posts on the passing of Tita Midz I felt really sad. I just could not post a simple RIP message on my wall.
"I remembered the time I auditioned for Saan Ka Man Naroroon in her house. I did a part from Hihintayin Kita sa Langit . She gave me time to study the part and I did the scene for her and I saw her tears fall from her face She said I got the part.
"And when we shot the movie in Pagudpod she gave me one on one workshops on the beach. If I've shown great acting after that movie, it' s all because of her.
"I was one lucky girl. I remember working with her for 'Kung Mawawala Ka' and I had a court scene with super long lines and Tita Midz was in the scene and Direk Joel Lamangan was our director.
"I remember I wanted to do my best for her, I could not sleep well the night before and didn't eat dinner before the scene. I wanted to make sure I knew my lines.
"And I did the scene and everyone clapped and my director patted me and said I did good and she smiled at me and was proud of me.
"Those are my most memorable moments of Tita Midz. I will always be grateful to Tita Midz.
"I won three best supporting actress awards for Saan ka Man Naroroon and Tita Midz accepted one of those awards for me.
"Sincerest condolences to Direk Carlos Siguion-Reyna and Ate Bibeth Orteza and to her whole family."
