Unvaccinated and partially vaccinated individuals will be allowed in public transportation in Metro Manila under Alert Level 2, which starts today, February 1, 2022.
That was according to the public announcement released by Department of Transportation on Sunday, January 30.
Metro Manila and seven other areas will be placed under Alert Level 2 until February 15.
The "no vaccine, no ride" policy was implemented in Metro Manila last January 18, under Alert Level 3.
It covered travel via land, air, rail, and sea.
It also covered those who live outside Metro Manila but enter the region for work or travel.
Those who are medically unable to get the vaccines and those who will procure essential goods and services as long as they can present documents from their physician and other justification for travel are were exempted.
