Ang Pilipinas ang second happiest country sa Southeast Asia, ayon sa 2022 World Happiness Report.
Inilabas ng United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network ang report noong Biyernes, March 18, 2022.
Sa Southeast Asia, nanguna bilang happiest country ang Singapore na may score na 6.840. Sumunod rito ang Pilipinas na may score na 5.904.
Sa overall list naman na binubuo ng 146 countries, nasa 27th spot ang Singapore habang ang Pilipinas ay nasa 60th place, na slight improvement sa 61st place nito noong 2021.
Patunay ito na generally, positibo ang pananaw ng mga Pinoy kumpara sa ibang Asian countries sa kabila ng mga hirap na pinagdadaanan ngayong pandemya.
Ang iba pang Southeast Asian countries na kabilang sa list ay ang Thailand (61st), Malaysia (70th), Vietnam (77th), Indonesia (87th), Laos (95th), Cambodia (114th), at Myanmar (126th).

For the fifth consecutive year, matatag sa unang puwesto ang Finland na may score na 7.842.
Sinundan ito ng Demark (2nd), Switzerland (3rd), Iceland (4th), Netherlands (5th), Norway (6th), Sweden (7th), Luxembourg (8th), New Zealand (9th), at Austria (10th).
Ayon pa sa report, on the average, nakakaranas ang malaking bahagi ng mundo ng stress, worry, and sadness, at may kaunting pagbaba pagdating sa enjoyment of life.
Pero ang average life evaluations ay nanatiling “remarkably resilient during COVID-19”—batay sa positive at negative influences.
Sa kabilang banda, ang bottom 10 sa list (mula 137-156) ay ang Burundi, Yemen, Tanzania, Haiti, Malawi, Lesotho, Botswana, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, at Afghanistan.
Ang annual report na ito ay sinimulan noong 2012.
Kabilang sa factors na ikinukunsidera sa paggawa ng listahan ay ang gross domestic product (GDP) per capita, social support, healthy life expectancy, freedom to make life choices, generosity, at perceptions of corruption.
