The Miss Universe is gearing up for its 72nd edition in El Salvador on November 18, 2023.
El Salvador last hosted the pageant in 1975, with Anne Marie Pohtamo from Finland winning the crown.
This year's pageant promises to be eventful for a couple of reasons.
Pakistan will make its debut, while several countries including Denmark, Bangladesh, Egypt, Hungary, Norway, and Kazakhstan, among others, are making a comeback through their respective representatives.
Married women and moms are also among those who will be competing.
