P-Pop sensation BINI is set to headline the ASIYA Music Festival and Conference, taking place on October 12 and 13, 2024, at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

In case you haven't heard, the first-ever ASIYA: Asian Music Festival and Conference is set to bring together musicians, fans, and industry professionals for an exhilarating two-day event in Pasay City.

Organized by Karpos Live, the event is scheduled to happen on October 12 and 13, 2024, at the World Trade Center.

According to its official website, "ASIYA is more than just a platform for performances; it is a vibrant meeting ground for the music industry."

Here's everything you need to know.

ASIYA: MUSICAL LINE-UP

South Korean indi band Hyukoh and Taiwan-based jazz-pop band Sunset Rollercoaster will headline the first day.

Back in early August, Hyukoh and Sunset Rollercoaster revealed the cities for their joint tour AAA, named after their collaborative album. Among these stops, they announced a performance in the country on October 12.

On the second day, local favorite Star Magic's octet BINI, will take the stage.

BINI is known for its hits including "Pantropiko," "Salamin, Salamin," and "Karera," among many others.

The festival will also feature other South Korean artists, including the rising multinational musical collective Balming Tiger and solo artist Colde, who has collaborated with K-Pop stars, like Crush and Baekhyun.

Foreign artists in the line-up include the viral "Night Dancer" singer imase, the all-around creative Salasa, and Taiwanese singer-songwriter 9m88.

Malaysian trio babychair, Thai singer-songwriter Numcha, and the rising self-made Singaporean electro-pop singer Shye will also be flying in for the festival.

Of course, no music festival in the Philippines is complete without showcasing local talents.

Filipino acts to grace the line-up include the acclaimed rock band juan karlos, multi-talented creative Reese Lansangan, award-winning indie-rock band UDD (Up Dharma Down), jazz singer Jose Miguel, and former IV of Spades memver Zild.

Gabba Santiago, former drummer of Fools and Foes, will also light up the stage at ASIYA. Completing the list are Accompanying him are the five-piece band Flu, Cebu's rock band Urbandub, and the musical sibling duo Ysanygo.

ASIYA: MUSIC BEYOND BORDERS

ASIYA's conference will bring together industry leaders from Asia's creative hubs, like record labels, production companies, and music festivals.

The speakers will discuss the future of music, share industry insights, and provide tips.

The two-day program includes a Spotify masterclass, a keynote on the future of live music, and panel discussions about international markets and festivals.

ASIYA FEST: TICKET PRICES

Here the details for music festival access-only tickets:

  • GA Saturday - PHP3,950
  • GA Sunday - PHP3,950
  • GA Weekend - PHP5,550
  • VIP Weekend - PHP9,450

Conference pass:

  • 2 Days - PHP3,850
  • Music Fest Ticket Upgrade (2 Days Pass) - PHP2,000

GA passes for either Saturday or Sunday offer single-day access to the music festival with no re-entry allowed.

VIP Weekend passes grant access to the festival on both days, including the VIP viewing deck, priority access to the pit and merch booth, and exclusive merchandise such as a lanyard, key chain, tote bag, and shirt.

VIP ticket holders can explore the entire festival grounds and benefit from re-entry privileges.

OTHER REMINDERS

Wristbands, which are waterproof and tearproof, will be issued at festival entry. Avoid overtightening to keep them as a souvenir.

Remember, tickets are non-transferable, so plan accordingly.

Children aged 7 and below are not allowed, and minors (17 and below) must be with a ticket-holding adult, with one adult supervising up to two minors.

VIP Weekend pass holders receive one wristband for both days; tampered wristbands will result in denied entry, and the same person must attend both days.
