Saudi Arabia offers 265 fully-funded scholarships for Filipinos

Libreng undergraduate at postgraduate studies ang alok ng Saudi Arabian government sa mga Filipino students pagsapit ng 2026.

Ang Study in Saudi scholarship program ay may inilaang 265 slots para sa mga Pinoy na gustong mag-aral sa naturang Middle East country.

Hindi lamang libreng tuition ang sasagutin ng programa.

“The scholarships cover undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs, and include full tuition fees, medical insurance, accommodation, round-trip air tickets, and financial stipends,” ayon sa X post ng embahada ng Saudi sa Pilipinas.

"When they go to Saudi Arabia, they have everything free, and they can study for all the universities,” ani Ambassador-Designate Faisal Ebraheem Alghamdi sa GMA Integrated News interview.

Ang scholarships ay nagkakahalaga ng Saudi Arabian Riyal (SAR) 800 hanggang SAR2,000 kada buwan, depende sa kukuning degree, ayon kay Economics and Cultural Affairs Officer Kamal Jameel Alwidyani.

Ang katumbas ng amount na ito ay PHP11,876 hanggang PHP29,680 kada buwan.

Dagdag ng Philippine News Agency, magandang oportunidad ito dahil makakapag-aral ang mga qualified Pinoys na kumuha ng anumang major, bukod sa medicine, sa Saudi universities.

Ang deadline ng application para sa mga Pilipinong wala sa Saudi Arabia ay hanggang June 14, 2025, for undergraduate studies; October 31, 2025, for postgraduate studies.

Sa mga Pilipinong nasa Saudi, ang submission ay mula June 15, 2025 hanggang July 31, 2025, para sa undergraduate studies at until October 31, 2025 para sa postgraduate.

Maaaring nagsumite ng application ang mga interesado sa link na ito: https://studyinsaudi.moe.gov.sa/

Sa kasalukuyan, mayroong 800 Pilipinong scholars na nag-aaral ngayon sa Saudi Arabia.
