Ipatutupad ng Social Security System (SSS) ang Pension Reform Program simula September 2025.
Tampok sa programa ang three-year increase in pensions para sa lahat ng SSS pensioners.
Ito ang pinakaunang multiyear adjustment na isinagawa ng ahensiya sa loob ng 68 years.
Ang SSS Pension Reform Program ay inaprubahan ng Social Security Commission (SSC) sa ilalim ng Resolution No. 340-s.2025 na may petsang July 11, 2025.
Tugon ito sa matagal ng panawagan na maitaas ang pension habang tinitiyak na nananatiling matatag ang pondo ng SSS.

RATIONAL AND SUSTAINABLE SSS PENSION INCREASE
Sa inilabas na official statement ni SSS President Robert Joseph M. De Claro last July 31, sinabi niyang: "We've heard the clamor for higher pensions loud and clear.
“After careful actuarial review, we are rolling out a rational and sustainable pension increase that uplifts all pensioners without compromising the fund's actuarial soundness."

SSS PENSION INCREASES FROM 2025 TO 2027
Ang dagdag sa pension ay ipatutupad in three annual tranches tuwing September:
September 2025 (for pensioners as of 31 August 2025):
a.10% increase - Retirement and Disability Pensioners
b. 5% increase - Death or Survivor Pensioners
September 2026 (for pensioners as of 31 August 2026):
a. Additional 10% increase - Retirement and Disability Pensioners
b. Additional 5% increase - Death or Survivor Pensioners
September 2027 (for pensioners as of 31 August 2027):
a. Additional 10% increase - Retirement and Disability Pensioners
b. Additional 5% increase - Death or Survivor Pensioners
Pagkalipas ng tatlong taon, ang pension ay tinatayang tataas ng 33 percent para retirement/disability pensioners, at 16% para sa death/survivor pensioners.

PRINCIPLES OF PENSION REFORM PROGRAM
Ang Pension Reform Program ay ginagabayan ng tatlong principles:
- Uplifting all pensioners through inclusive benefit adjustments.
- Recovering from inflation to protect purchasing power.
- Promoting the value of working, saving, investing, and prospering, as mandated by RA 11199.

NO CONTRIBUTION INCREASE FOR ACTIVE SSS MEMBERS
Ayon sa website ng SSS, makikinabang sa Pension Reform Program ang mahigit 3.8 million pensioners na kinabibilangan ng 2.6 million retirement/disability pensioners at 1.2 million survivor pensioners.
Wala namang binanggit na dagdag na kontribusyon mula sa active SSS members.
