Ang dahilan: "logistical and supply chain issues.”
Pagdedetalye pa ng ahensiya: “…passport applications filed beginning the last week of March 2026 may experience delays in release."
Gaano katagal ang delay?
Ayon pa rin sa DFA, mag-aantay ang applicant ng "10 to 15 working days from the date of application until further notice.”
“The Department is closely working with the third-party service provider for the printing of the ePassports on resolving the current delays and ensuring that passport operations normalize as soon as possible.”
In the meantime, nag-provide ang DFA ng email addresses para sa mga emergency cases:
- Office of Consular Affairs (OCA) - oca.concerns@dfa.gov.ph
- Passport concerns - passportconcerns@dfa.gov.ph
- For Passport Appointment Concerns: (02) 8234 – 3488
- For Passport, Authentication, and other Consular Inquiries: (02) 8651 – 9400
