Mensahe ng Quezon City Government sa Facebook, “QCitizens, para sa ligtas at masayang pagsalubong sa bagong taon, huwag nang magpaputok o magsagawa ng fireworks display sa inyong mga lugar. Manood na lamang ng inihandang magarbong fireworks display sa Quezon Memorial Circle at iba pang kilalang malls sa lungsod.”
Ang mga lugar sa Quezon City na magsasagawa ng otorisadong fireworks display na may pahintulot mula sa Pamahalaang Lungsod pagsapit ng hating-gabi ay Quezon Memorial Circle, Eastwood City Open Park, Robinsons Novaliches, SM City Fairview, SM North EDSA at SM City Novaliches.
Magpapasaya sa Liwasang Aurora ng QUEZON MEMORIAL CIRCLE ang bandang Silent Sanctuary, kasama sina Renz Fernando, Jacq Yu, Princess Vire, Sky Escudero, Haydee Manosca at Albert Aguilar.
