Maraming intriga ang ibinabato sa nalalapit na birthday-anniversary concert ni Toni Gonzaga. Minabuti ng producer na si Joed Serrano ng Godfather Productions na linawin ang isyu.
Narito ang official statement ng kaibigang Joed na ipinadala sa PEP Troika ngayong Enero 14, Sabado ng umaga sa pamamagitan ng Facebook messenger (published as is):
“As of January 13 friday at 4:45pm, The I Am Toni concert @ the smart araneta coliseum on Jan 20, 2023 has already sold 55% of the tickets.
“20% goes to the sponsors who pledged their support for their endorser toni gonzaga. Mommy Pinti ordered & paid 350 tickets for her mga friends, relatives at mga ka church mate na sa kanya umorder.
“Me as one of the producers also reserved some 300 tickets for my friends who ordered from me instead of going to ticketnet. These tickets are paid.
“Wala ng libre sa panahon ngayon except pag kapamilya mo ang manonood. Iba ang concert sa pulitika at pelikula.
“As of this date, we still have 15% tickets unsold. You can still buy your tickets & get a chance to watch this very controversial concert.
“Its a celebration of 20 years in showbusiness & the birthday of our dearest Toni Gonzaga. Let us all unite & be positive in life. Move on & be kind to all. Let us all give ourselves a chance to be good in this world.
“Smile, wag nega sa buhay. Kung wala kang sasabihing di maganda sa kapwa mo, then might as well be quiet kesa magkasala ka pa at mastress. See you all on Jan. 20, 2023 friday 8pm at the araneta coliseum.”

Hindi ganoon kalakas ang Metro Manila Film Festival 2022 entry ni Toni na My Teacher kasama si Joey de Leon, at idinirek ng husband niyang si Paul Soriano.
Kaya ang komento mula sa mga mapanuring mata, akala raw ba nila ay most powerful local celebrity at susuportahan ito ng 31M na bumoto kay PBBM (President Bongbong Marcos) na inendorso niya?
Ang panunudyo sa socmed ay to the rescue ang co-producer na si Mommy Pinti at bumili raw ng 500 tickets. Nakasalalay kay Toni kung kaya ba niyang punuin ang Araneta Coliseum.
Pero maraming konsiderasyon diyan:
Katatapos lang gumastos ng mga Pinoy sa nakaraang Pasko. Tuloy pa rin ang pagtaas ng mga bilihin, lalo na ang sibuyas. Next week ay tataas uli ang gas.
Uunahin pa ba natin ang bumili ng ticket sa concert, o kahit sa pelikula?
May nakapagbulong nga sa PEP Troika na lugi pa rin ang mga producer ng Eraserheads reunion concert.
Kaya tuloy pa rin ang pamamayagpag ng career ni Toni sakaling mag-flop man ang kanyang concert. Pero kung 15% na lang ang unsold tickets, hindi na masama iyan! Hindi na flop iyan!
