Ngayong Sabado, Pebrero 11, ang birthday ng bagong talent ko na si Jackie Lou Blanco.
Feeling niya, para siyang nagde-debut dahil kare-release lang on Spotify, Deezer at Apple Music ang kanyang bagong recording ng kantang "Friends" ni George Canseco na binigyan nila ng bagong touch ng Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
Jackie Lou is currently taping a teleserye sa GMA-7, pero natutuwa siya sa reaksyon ng mga tao sa kanyang bagong single, and she is so overwhlemed by the support that Sharon has been giving her of late.
“Sabi ko nga sa kanya that we may not have what we have lost when we were younger sana, but with our reconnection, which is one of my biggest gifts this time, we can have something more and be better,” sabi ni Jackie.
Hudyat na ba ito ng kanyang pagtuluy-tuloy sa recording?
“Sana, at least I get to record songs that I’ve always wanted to, at akalain mo bang mapapasama pa ako sa mga concerts at shows at this time of my career. Let’s see where this leads to.”
Kasama si Jackie Lou sa Valentine Concert for a Cause na Another Chance with Arman Ferrer, Mitch Valdes at marami pang iba sa February 14 mismo sa BGC Arts Center. This is written and directed by Floy Quintos and musically directed by Gino Cruz. Masaya ka na sa concert, makakatulong ka pa sa Angat Buhay NGO.
After this collab with Sharon in recording, may film/acting project ba na puwede nilang pagsamahan ulit ni Mega?

Kasabay ng audio release ng "Friends," inilabas na rin ni Sharon sa kanyang YouTube channel ang special music video nito na siyang regalo niya kay Jackie Lou for her birthday today.
Ang sabi ni Sharon sa Instagram at YouTube, “It's been 40 years since I recorded this as the theme song of Jackielou's and my movie ‘Friends In Love,’ with our co-stars William Martinez and Rowell Santiago. She was nineteen, and I, seventeen. So much had happened in our own separate lives since then, but somehow, we lost the chance to be there for each other.
“I've always said that life has a way of stealing things, moments... and people from you. Add to that that the industry we have both been a part of for most of our lives is nothing short of complicated that even individual personal time has always been elusive. Somehow, God has brought us together again. And we are more than grateful for our renewed friendship.
“With this song, now exclusively about just friends without the ‘in love’ part (I know the great Tito George Canseco who wrote this song didn't mind when I tweaked the words a bit) -- no boys involved now, just two girls who have grown into women, now battle-scarred and hopefully, wiser -- and always — filled with hope -- we pray that our song (well, Jacqui's version with me as her support) touches your hearts, brings back good memories of your years growing up shared with us two - our history together with you all.

Habang sine-celebrate ni Sharon ang birthday ni Jackie Lou sa kanyang Sharon Cuneta Network, sumabay naman ang feature ni Snooky kay Dina Bonnevie sa kanyang Snooky vlog.
Sinabi doon ni Dina na sila talaga nina Snooky at Maricel Soriano ang magkapanabayan at magkakaibigan. At kahit nakasama at nakapanabayan din ni Dina si Sharon, never niyang nabanggit si Sharon sa mga artistang close siya o kinabibiliban niya.
