Aminado ang foreign actors na sina Nico Locco (Italian-Canadian) at Luke Selby (British) na sobrang na-in love sila sa Pilipinas.
Nakapanayam namin ang dalawa sa DZRH nung Martes, May 16, 2023, para sa promo ng pelikula nilang Sandwich na mag-i-streaming sa Vivamax simula sa Biyernes, Mayo 20.
Nagustuhan ni Luke ang bansang Pilipinas. Sa dami ng mga bansang napuntahan, mas at home daw talaga siya sa ating bansa.
Sa katunayan, willing daw siyang ipagpalit ang kanyang British passport sa Philippine passport.
Ani Luke, “I have genuinely thought about it. I even post the option to my family back in the UK.
"They were obviously not happy with that thought. They don’t want me to give up my UK citizenship.
"But if that was the choice that I had to make in order to stay here, then I would. This is really what I want to be.”
Mahigit tatlong taon na sa Pilipinas si Luke. Sa dami ng mga bansang napuntahan niya, mas gusto raw niya sa Pilipinas. Nakahanda rin daw siyang permanente nang manirahan dito.
“Philippines is my home. It just feels like home to me. The people are very kind. Obviously, in the Filipino culture, everyone is very kind and courteous.
“The food. I love the food, can’t get enough of it. I’m eating as much as I can. You would really think of it, considering I’m not a walking round like a giant globe.
“But, just everything, the outcome to experience in the Philippines just made me feel very settled here.
"I’m quite travelled but none of those places felt anything like the Philippines,” sabi pa ni Luke.
Naisip din daw ni Nico na maging Pinoy, pero nanghihinayang din siyang i-give up ang Italian at Canadian citizenship niya.
Lahad ni Nico, “Dual citizenship ako, e. I have an Italian passport and a Canadian passport.
“I tried dati, but sadly, kailangan ko i-forfeit yung ano… yung Italian and Canadian passport, to get a Filipino passport.
“So, hindi puwede tatlo, e. Kaya, I didn’t go through with that.
“I mean, of course… may mga benefits if I marry a Filipina, right? I can get my 13A visa.
"It’s gonna be a lot easier for me to do those kind of things. Kasi work permit now ako dito sa Pinas which is a little bit of hassle attaining that document.
"It would be a lot easier if I was married to a Filipina, that’s for sure."

Nakahanda raw si Nico na dito sa Pilipinas mag-settle down, lalo na’t kung dito na siya makahanap ng babaeng mapapangasawa at magkapamilya.
“The thing I love Filipinas though are sobrang maasikaso, mapagmahal, family-oriented, God-fearing.
“These are all things an Italian person, you know… I was raised in an Italian house, di ba? So, ako din, I have all those same traits.
“When… nung pumunta ako sa Pinas, it wasn’t hard for me to define people. Yung appreciation ko for a Filipina is really great, and I have a lot of respect towards them kasi similar sila sa akin,” saad ng Italian-Canadian model-actor.
Mukha namang seryoso na si Nico sa sexy actress na si Cristine Bermas. Posible kayang ito na ang babaeng makakasama niyang mamuhay sa Pilipinas?
“She’s really a fantastic woman. Sobrang mabait siya, mahal ko siya, and sana magtagal kami, fingers-crossed.
“Plano ko mag-stay dito sa Pinas for sure. I mean, I do have dreams to work internationally, I always have.
“I was able to host in Miss Universe in Thailand, do projects in South Korea you know, host in Singapore, Malaysia. These are things I would love doing, pero Philippines will always be my home,” pakli ni Nico.

Seryoso na si Luke Selby sa kanyang acting career dito sa Pilipinas.
Walang kiyeme siyang naghubad sa mga pelikulang nagawa niya. Pero sinabi ni Luke na itongSandwich na ang huli niyang paghuhubad.
“I am very serious with my acting, but I’m kinda walking away from sexy films now at this point.
“I’m more into wholesome, expanding my modeling career as well, join pageants, photo shoots, things like that,” pahayag ng British model-actor.
Next month ay lalaban si Luke sa isang timpalak kung saan iri-represent niya ang United Kingdom.
