Matagumpay ang annual event ng G-Force ni Teacher Georcelle Dapat-Sy para sa kanyang workshoppers.
Ibang-iba ito ngayong taon dahil ginawa nilang competition, na tinawag nilang G-Force Project 2023 The Competition. Ginanap ito sa Samsung Performing Arts Theater sa Circuit, Makati nung Lunes, October 30, 2023.
Walong teams ang naglaban-laban na pinangungunahan ng mga celebrity choreographers ng G-Force na sina Gelai, Jerry, Michael, Jaja, BJ, Jamon, Iris, at Sherwin.
Ani Teacher Georcelle, “What we are having tonight is G Force Project, the competition. So, yung G Force project is our way of sharing happiness, sharing the gift of dance, and we started it year 2008.
"So, 15 years na, and we keep on doing it, and nag-e-evolve na rin. Meron kaming mga team building workshop for them. We have a lot of teachers na inu-offer.
"Nag-perform na kami sa Araneta Coliseum, sa Mall of Asia Arena, at past few years namin sa Solaire Theater.
"So, it was really dubbed as the biggest and the grandest dance workshop here in the Philippines."
Excited si Teacher Georcelle na ibinahagi na ang mananalong team ay makakatanggap ng PHP150,000 cash prize.
"Ngayon, after 15 years, siyempre gusto kong i-level up. And the way to level up that, and to challenge team, the celebrity choreographers, is through this competition, and also challenging the students. Kasi, alam nila may competition.
"Hindi lang siya workshop, ang then ending in a culminating activity. Ito, six days, same workshop and what can you come up with. How will you come up with a good piyesa, and then competition na," sambit ni Teacher Georcel.
Thankful si Teacher Georcelle at ang buong G-Force sa suporta ng mga malalapit na kaibigan.
Umupong judge sina Billy Crawford, Sarah Lahbati, Dr. Vicki Belo, ang international choreographer na si Laurence Kayway, at ABS-CBN President and CEO Carlo Katigbak.
Nanalo sa competition ang Team Jaja.
Ang payat pero lalong gumanda si Sarah Lahbati nung gabing iyun, at siya ang unang bumati sa amin at kinumusta kami.
Naalangan tuloy kaming tanungin siya tungkol sa isyung hinaharap nila ngayon ni Richard Gutierrez, dahil nagsimula na agad ang programa na idya-judge nila.

Kumusta ang mga ipina-copyright nilang dance steps?
Naka-copyright na raw sa IPOPHIL o Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines ang mga na-create nilang dance steps.
"You know, when you're writing songs, right? You have created [a particular piece], and of course pag gagamitin siya, kailangan lang naman magbayad ng royalty fee," nakangiting sagot ni Teacher Georcelle.
"Similar with songwriters... probably because ngayon lang talaga narinig ang dance. It has been there for a long time already.”
Meron daw silang mga dance steps na ipinu-post nila sa social media, na puwede raw gamitin.
"Of course, they can use it. Parang sa music, di ba ,sa Tiktok? There are music na available to be used.
"So, when we create dance challenge, we will post it and you can of course use it," sambit ni Teacher Georcelle.

NOEL FERRER:
Patuloy na nagtuturo ang G-Force sa pagsasayaw, hindi lang sa mga kabataan kundi pati sa mga adults na basta kaya pang sumayaw.
Hindi lang daw ito para magiging magaling silang sumayaw, kundi makakatulong sa kanilang personalidad, para sa kanilang self-confidence. Parang personality at character development daw ito sa kanilang workshoppers.
Willing si Teacher Georcelle magturo sa mga batang may potential sa pagsasayaw at gagawin nilang scholars.
Kamakailan lang ay nagturo siya ng sayaw sa mga batang street vendor. Kasama niya si Pinky Tobiano na nagbigay saya sa mga kabataan sa kalye na mahilig sumayaw.
Willing daw silang magbigay ng scholarship sa mga batang talented sa pagsasayaw.
"Of course, because I myself came from that. I mean, I am a product of you know scholarship. My dance education is from scholarship," bulalas ni Teacher Georcel.
Huwag daw silang matakot na baka i-charge sila ng mahal. Madali lang daw lumapit sa kanilang studio.
"Come to us. Especially now, we're looking for new breed of dancers. Especially now! Go to the studio. Our studio is so easy to find.
"We're in Quezon City and we're in Alabang. And also in Cebu, we are there. And soon, we'll be in BGC," masayang pagbabalita ng celebrity choreographer.
