Nag-Tokyo International Film Festival si Enchong Dee noong last week of October para sa pelikulang The Fisher, na tinampukan nila ni Mon Confiado. Ang director ay si Paul Soriano.
After Japan, nag-Los Angeles, California, USA si Enchong para sa November 2 launch ng Manila International Film Festival.
Ipinalabas doon ang Summer MMFF 2023 movie niyang Here Comes The Groom, at present din doon ang co-star niyang si KaladKaren.
Kagagaling din lang ni Enchong sa Singapore.
At noong Nobyembre 13, Lunes ay dumalo siya sa mediacon ng MMFF 2023 entry na GomBurZa sa TV5 Media Center sa Reliance St., Mandaluyong City. Iyon ang first time niyang tumapak sa TV5.
Nasa mediacon din ang co-stars niya sa GomBurZa na sina Dante Rivero, Cedrick Juan, Jaime Fabregas, Ketchup Eusebio, Elora Españo, Tommy Alejandrino, Carlitos Siguion-Reyna at Sheenly Grener, pati direktor nilang si Pepe Diokno.

Ano ang pakiramdam ni Enchong na nabibigyan siya ng mga de kalidad at makabuluhang pelikula?
“Sa totoo lang po, para siyang panaginip,” sambit ni Enchong, na gumaganap na Jacinto Zamora sa GomBurZa.
Patuloy niya, “Sinasabi ko sa mga interviews ko for the past two weeks, sa lahat ng napuntahan ko — parang ito yung taon na andaming pangarap na natupad.
“And it also gave me that motivation para gumawa pa ng mga pelikulang ganito, mga proyektong ganito na mapa-proud ka at kahit ipalabas mo sa ibang bansa, meron at merong mga banyaga na, ‘Ah, papanoorin ko yan because it’s a quality film from the Philippines.’
"And it feels so good that I’m one of many actors na dala-dala mo yung pangalan ng Pilipinas. Masaya ako kapag nakaka-experience ako ng ganun.
"So, I’m currently living my dream. Eto, lahat kayo na nandito, parang pakiramdam ko… maaalala ko siya kapag tumanda ako na OK, 2023 is one of those years that many of my dreams came true.”
Ipinagmamalaki ng producers na JesCom Films, MQuest Ventures at CMB Film Services na itong GomBurZa ang biggest historical film of the new decade.
Kuwento ito ng tatlong martir na pari na sina Fr. Mariano Gomes (Dante Rivero), Fr. Jose Burgos (Cedrick Juan) at Fr. Jacinto Zamora (Enchong Dee).
Ang kanilang pagkamatay ang nagsindi ng alab sa puso ng ating mga bayani, at bumuhay ng ating pagka-Pilipino.
Ang tagline ng pelikulang GomBurZa, “Buhayin Natin Ang Alab Sa Puso Mo!”
Pahayag ni Enchong, “I can proudly say that I’m so proud to be a Filipino. I love this country. I will fight for this country.
“And if my way of sharing that to people, and my way of inspiring other people to love this country more is through my films, then I would gladly take it, and I would gladly take more projects.
“Yung alab, nanggagaling sa pagmamahal ko sa bansa and yung pagmamahal ko sa paggawa ng pelikula…
“I’m so proud to be a Filipino and I am so happy that I get to share this film and show it to the younger generation, and be like… pag minahal mo yung bansa natin, mas malaki yung tsansa natin na paakyatin yung antas ng bansa natin.
“So I hope after watching this film, more Filipinos will love our country and more Filipinos would envision the Philippines as one of the greatest.”

Nag-viral ang isyung MaJoHa sa Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) teens noong Abril 2022. Sa April 9, 2022 episode ng nasabing reality show, tinanong sina Gabb Skribikin at Kai Espenido kung ano ang portmanteau o collective name nina Mariano Gomes, Jose Burgos at Jacinto Zamora. Hindi nakasagot si Kai. Ang hirit ni Gabb, “MaJoHa.”
Pahayag ni Enchong, “Medyo nag-full circle siya sa akin because I was a host for that particular season when that came out.
“And it was medyo nakakalungkot na sa kanila nanggaling, and I also believe that they are educated kids.
“And for them not to be informed about a simple as GomBurZa is very saddening.
“Pero at the same time, na-realize ko, nag-full circle ako… sandali! Kahit ako mismo, hindi ko alam masyado yung kuwento ng GomBurZa!
“So I don’t blame them. I think there are things that we can improve. I am not an expert when it comes to this discussion, but there are things that we can improve in our educational system.
“So that we can better understand why the Philippines is like this, and why the Filipinos were fighting for this particular freedom that we are enjoying right now.”
Maliban sa mga nasa mediacon, nasa cast din ng GomBurZa sina Piolo Pascual, Elijah Canlas, Khalil Ramos, Epy Quizon, Neil Sese, Arnold Reyes, Nanding Josef, Paolo O’Hara, at Sue Prado.

NOEL FERRER:
Sunud-sunod ang magagandang pelikula ni Enchong. Kasama rin siya sa action thriller ni Arjo Atayde na Topak, na umiikot din sa mga international filmfest.
“I think yung kalahati ng taon last year, sinabi ko talaga sa sarili ko na I want to focus myself on doing films,” lahad ni Enchong.
“So if you notice, hindi po ako gumagawa ng TV for a long while. It’s been two years.
"And meron talagang conscious effort na gusto kong tumanda sa industriya na ito na nakakagawa ng mga pelikula na puwede mong balik-balikan.
"At may matututunan ka, at may mararamdaman ka. So ngayon, nadun po ako sa punto na yun pero hindi ko rin alam kung paano siya nangyayari na sunud-sunud.
"Sinabi ko lang kay Lord, ‘Lord, gusto ko lang hong magtrabaho, gumawa ng pelikula,’ last year.
"Simula noong August last year hanggang Summer MMFF, hindi na po siya natigil. Tapos yun, in good fortune or whatever, parang pinadala rin ako ni Lord sunud-sunod sa ibang bansa.
"Kaya maganda, masarap ang pakiramdam po.”
Maganda ito, at nakikita ni Enchong ang halaga niya bilang aktor sa mga magagandang film projects na patuloy niyang ginagawa.
