Hindi nagtagpo sina Niño Muhlach at Atty. Maggie Abraham-Garduque sa hearing na ipinatawag ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) noong Biyernes, Agosto 9, 2024.
Si Garduque ang legal counsel ng GMA-7 independent contractors na sina Jojo Nones at Richard "Dode Cruz," na inireklamo ng anak ni Niño na si Sandro Muhlach ng sexual abuse.
Sa umaga dumating si Niño, sa hapon naman si Garduque.

NONES AND CRUZ CAMP DENIES APOLOGIZING TO NIÑO MUHLACH
Sinabi ni Niño sa interview niya bago humarap sa Senate hearing noong Miyerkules, Agosto 7, na nag-apologize sina Jojo at Dode nang humarap sila sa Senado.
Ayon sa dating Child Wonder, “Actually nakaharap ko na yung dalawa and they apologized to me regarding what happened.
“Ako, tao lang ako. Diyos nga marunong magpatawad. Ako, kaya ko silang patawarin, pero they have to pay for what they did.”
Pinabulaanan ito ni Garduque.
Aniya, “May sinabi siya [Niño] sa interview niya and sa Senate hearing daw na nag-meeting, nag-apologize daw sina Jojo…
"As regards the apology, I confer with my clients and no such apology as to admission of liability that happened in the meeting. This is a complete lie.”
Ayon kay Garduque, nag-submit lang sila ng counter-affidavit bilang sagot sa isinumiteng complaint ni Sandro.
Text ni Atty. Maggie sa PEP Troika: “In compliance with the subpoena we filed today the joint counter-affidavit of Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz.
“We cannot discuss in detail the contents of their counter-affidavit as we are prohibited by NBI to do so since every counter statements and evidence submitted to the NBI are considered confidential and thereby cannot disclose to the public until the end of the investigation and their validation.
“But in essence, our clients deny all the allegations of Sandro in his alleged complaint for sexual abuse.”

Sa Lunes, Agosto 12, ay ire-resume ang hearing sa Senado na ang paksa ay "Policies of Television Networks and Artist Management Agencies in Relation to Complaints of Abuse and Harassment" sa ilalim ng Committee on Public Information and Mass Media, na pinamumunuan ni Senator Robin Padilla.
Nung nakaraang hearing ay ipina-subpoena na sina Nones at Cruz dahil sa hindi nila pagdalo. Kaya inaasahan ang pagdating ng dalawa para humarap sa Senado.
Tingnan natin kung magiging bukas ito sa media o closed-door ang pag-iimbestiga.
Pero gaano katotoong kukuha o kumuha na ng isa pang abogado ang isa sa independent contractors? Dahil ba magkaiba ang kuwento at nagawa nilang dalawa?

May larawan iyon ng panganay na anak na si Sandro at nakalagay, “JUSTICE FOR SANDRO In your quest for justice, you are not alone. We stand with you, sending our warmest hugs and prayers believing that justice will prevail.”
Dalangin nating lumabas ang katotohanan, ang buong katotohanan, at walang iba kundi ang katotohanan lamang.
