Noong Agosto 22, Huwebes, ay umarangkada na ang Un/Happy For You sa Australia, New Zealand, United Arab Emirates (UAE), at Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
Agosto 23, Biyernes, nag-umpisa ang pagpapalabas sa USA, Canada, Guam, at Saipan.
Nakatakda sa Agosto 29, Huwebes ang showing sa Qatar. Ikinakasa pa ang international screenings sa Oman, Bahrain, Italy (Rome, Milan), Cambodia, Malta, Hong Kong, Malaysia, at Singapore.
Sa tagumpay ng kanilang pelikula, siguradong ganado sina Joshua at Julia sa thanksgiving tour sa Agosto 31, Sabado, sa KCC Gensan Convention Center at KCC Koronadal.

LOCAL FILMS TO OPEN ON AUGUST 28
Siyangapala, tatlong pelikulang Pinoy ang nakatakdang mag-open sa local cinemas sa Agosto 28, Miyerkules.
Ang mga ito ay ang Pagtatag! The Documentary ng SB19, Love Child nina RK Bagatsing at Jane Oineza, at Real Life Fiction nina Piolo Pascual at Jasmine Curtis-Smith.
Tuwing Agosto ay ipinagdiriwang natin ang Buwan ng Wika.
Sinadya kayang Agosto ipalabas ang Real Life Fiction kung saan umaatikabo ang pag-i-Ingles nina Piolo at Jasmine?
Sa Setyembre 2 ay magtatapos na ang Ghost Month, at magbabakbakan umpisa Miyerkules ang mga pelikulang kahindik-hindik, kahambal-hambal, kasindak-sindak!
Sa Agosto 28 ang pagpapatuloy ng Thrill Fest ng Ayala Malls Cinemas with A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) and The Towering Inferno (1974).

Sana, ganito o lumapit man lang sa ganyan ang kikitain ng iba pang magagandang pelikulang Filipino tulad ng Love Child na palabas na sa August 28, at sana maipalabas na rin (on a wide release) ang Alipato at Muog at Lost Sabungeros, pati na yung ibang award-winning Cinemalaya XX films.

Nagkamit ng Special Jury Award ang documentary na Alipato at Muog sa Cinemalaya Bente: Loob Lalim Lakas (Agosto 2-11, 2024).
Noong Agosto 24, Sabado ng 5:00 P.M. ay may screening ang Alipato at Muog sa UP Film Center ng UP Diliman, Quezon City.
Exempted sa MTRCB ang screening sa naturang academic institution.
SENATOR LEILA DE LIMA ON ALIPATO AT MUOG
Napanood ni former Senator Leila de Lima ang nasabing screening at nag-post siya sa Facebook ng kanyang insights kaugnay rito noong Linggo.
Ani Sen. De Lima: “I watched ‘Alipato at Muog’ by Director JL Burgos at the UP Film Center yesterday.
“The film is a deeply personal, heart-wrenching chronicle of the director and his family's ongoing search for truth and justice over the enforced disappearance of his brother, Jonas Burgos.
“By contextualizing it with other similar cases, the film becomes a visceral look at the phenomenon of enforced disappearances, one of the gravest human rights violations, and the anguish the victims’ loved ones go through as they are unable to find consolation and closure over their loss.
“After having seen the documentary myself, I firmly disagree with the X rating conferred by the MTRCB.
“First, the film doesn't even compare to an R-13 film when it comes to the typical reasons why a film would get restricted from public viewing (e.g. drugs, violence, sex).
“The film was initially given a PG rating. Second, the official rationale for this rating is that it undermines the citizenry's faith and confidence in the government.
“This is ludicrous reasoning. This is explicitly an affront to the filmmakers’ freedom to dissent and call out malpractices and abuses.
“All the film does is share their story, their truth. Faced with such realities, the faith of the people in the government is undermined not by films like this, but by the government itself.
“The people will have faith in the government when it is worthy of faith.
“Ironically, if their intention behind the X rating was to silence the film, they achieved the opposite.
“The X rating seems to have only increased attention to the film, turning it into a symbol of the fight for freedom of expression.
“I highly encourage all to watch the film if you can get the opportunity to. In addition to the value of its content, it is a great watching experience, owing to Director JL’s artistic cinematography.
“Due to its X rating, it is only viewable through closed screenings for now. Please check out the official social media pages of the film for details on closed screenings. Hopefully, they can successfully appeal the MTRCB rating.
“Stop irrational censorships! Produce ALL desaparecidos!”
