Ikinuwento ni Regine Velasquez sa YouTube channel ni Ogie Diaz na nagpadala sa sa kanya ng bulaklak si Stell at nag-sorry dahil hindi matutuloy ang guesting nito sa Reset concert ng Asia's Songbird na nakatakda sa February 21, 2025 sa Samsung Performing Arts Theater, Makati City.
Ang sabi ni Regine, nagkaroon ng miscommunication at hindi nagtugma ang schedule ng SB19 member.
Pero meron pa namang tatlong araw ang concert ni Regine — February 14, 15, at 22 — hindi ba puwede si Stell sa ibang araw?

REGINE AND STELL WERE SUPPOSED TO SING THIS SONG
Nag-post si Regine na na-disappoint siya sa nangyari, pero nilinaw ng singer na hindi dahil kay Stell.
Kahit daw si Stell ay na-disappoint ding hindi siya natuloy mag-guest sa concert ni Regine.
Kuwento ni Regine, “E, kasi disappointed talaga ako dahil I was very excited to sing with Stell.
"E, we’re going to do, sabihin ko na kaya…. 'Sometime, Somewhere.'
“Kasi kinanta yun ni Stell sa concert ni Mr. C [Ryan Cayabyab]. So, my sister [Ccaai Velasquez-Mitra] and I thought it would be nice for us to sing.
“It would have been nice, but… so medyo na-disappoint talaga ako kasi… dun sa situation.
“Kasi kumbaga, naano ko na na yun na yung gagawin ko, e. I’m excited to rehearse with him.
“But again, these things happen, yung mga unfortunate things na minsan nangyayari talaga.
"And hindi naman nila fault, tsinek naman namin sa side ko kung ano yung schedule, but miscommunication lang talaga.
"Hindi lang nagtugma."
May napili na silang papalit kay Stell, pero hindi na raw muna sasabihin ni Regine kung sino ito at baka mabulilyaso na naman.
“Hindi ko na ia-announce, baka maudlot ulit,” bulalas ni Regine.
“Actually, first time naming mag-announce ng guest. Tapos, naging ganun pa.
“Kasi normally, we don’t even announce our guests… in any of my concert, I normally don’t announce our guests.
“Parang wala lang, hindi lang namin ina-announce para surprise.
“Kauna-unahang beses na nag-announce kami, nagkaroon pa ng miscommunication.
"So, okay lang nangyayari naman talaga yan pag minsan,” sabi pa ng Asia’s Songbird.

JERRY OLEA
Ngayong magkakasunud-sunod na ang concerts, hindi talaga maiwasan ang nagkakaproblema bago o sa mismong araw ng concert.
Kagaya ng kay Gary Valenciano na hindi tinapos ang unang gabi ng kanyang Pure Energy One More Time concert noong December 21, 2024, sa Araneta Coliseum, dahil nagka-severe dehydration siya.
Hindi raw talaga maiwasan yun kahit anong paghahanda.

MARTIN RECALLS POPS' CONCERT IN 1985
Sa nakaraang media conference naman ng Always and Forever concert nina Pops Fernandez at Martin Nievera, napag-usapan din ang nangyari kay Gary Valenciano.
Pati kay Regine Velasquez noong ginawa nito ang kanyang Silver anniversary concert noong 2012 na nawalan siya ng boses.

Sabi ni Martin, mas nauna pa sa kanila si Pops.
“She invented that! That’s her first concert, 1985,” bulalas ni Martin habang itinuturo si Pops.
Nangyari ito kay Pops noong ginawa niya ang kanyang first major concert titled Always noong December 7, 1985, sa Rizal Memorial Stadium, na hindi natuloy dahil sa lakas ng ulan.
Kuwento ni Pops: “Dahil hindi pa masyado tayo sanay mag-concert outdoor. Walang cover yung bubong, umulan, everything was wet na.
“Yung first kasi, umulan. So, we did it again. Ang daming tao.
"Ang nangyari early morning, we were there. Tapos siksikan, ang daming tao.
“Actually, yung second show was a free show, para ma-accommodate namin yung sa first show.”
Kaya mahirap daw talaga kapag hindi makontrol yung mga ganung problema sa mismong araw ng concert.
“You know it’s hard to really predict something like that. I’m sure for Gary and Regine, and also to all who went through that, it’s really a hard call,” sabi pa ni Martin.
Isa sa pinakaklasik na halimbawa ng ganitong sitwasyon ay iyong kay Chokoleit.
Right after mag-perform si Chokoleit noong Marso 2019 sa Abrenian Kawayan Festival sa Bangued, Abra ay inatake siya sa puso, at binawian ng buhay.

Talagang pinaghahandaan daw ni Pops Fernandez ang sarili niya, lalo na ang kalusugan.
Pero minsan, hindi raw talaga maaasahang bigla ka na lang dapuan ng sakit.
“Tao lang naman kami, di ba? Hindi naman kami robot. So, sometimes we are not 100 percent…
"Yeah, sometimes pag sinipon ka lang or inubo, ang hirap-hirap na kumanta di ba?
“So, yeah! That’s for our show, you really really have to make sure that…ako kasi, I sleep well, I don’t go out, I have a certain diet.
“Kasi may acid din ako. So you have to make sure… that even you have to be very careful, sometimes it just happens,” ani Pops.

Sabi naman ni Martin, “No one is more careful than Gary, V di ba? You can never really predict those things.
“I really felt bad for what happened to him that I thought… that’s the lesson for all of us.
“What would you do in the situation like that, di ba? Knowing me, even if my arm is falling off, I’m still singing. I mean, I don’t think about those things.
“When I go on stage, it’s sad to say, the show must go on.
"You should not have to suffer the show regardless. But it’s your call already.”

MARTIN AND POPS: LEARNING FROM OTHER SINGERS
Sa Febuary 7, gaganapin ang Always and Forever concert nina Pops at Martin sa SM MOA Arena.
Idinadalangin nina Martin at Pops na maging maayos ang lahat, at wala raw sanang ganung problema.
Saad ni Martin: “For both Pops and I, sana it won’t happen in our future shows.
"But if ever does, maybe we should learn from this and start thinking of... maybe the band should learn some songs on their own so they can stall while I go backstage and check my health, and see if I can come out.
“If the doctor says, 'You can still finish the show or come out a different Martin.' A little slower or maybe take out a couple of fast talks. I think they will understand, di ba?
“But it’s hard to talk about after the fact…. because now the people are talking all over the internet about what happens, 'Sana you do this, sana you do that.' It’s very hard to call that.
“So, what you can really do now is try to learn from this experience, and see how we can make an easier exit if we really had to do an exit.
"But really, the truth of the matter, once you step on that stage, the show must go on.
“If you don’t feel… don’t show at all. Don’t even start it.
"But if you start the show, you have to end it. End it however you can in the situation that you in.
“But easy to say now, cause I’m not there in that situation that Gary had.
“I think we should learn from this.”
Dagdag ni Pops, “But, even if we do all of those and we take all the precautions.
“Uulitin ko, tao lang, hindi naman robot. We can never tell what’s gonna happen, and hopefully it doesn’t happen during our performance.”
