Ang kick off ng SB19 Simula at Wakas World Tour ay nakatakda sa Mayo 31, 2025, sa Philippine Arena sa Bocaue Road, Santa Maria, Bulacan.
Sa araw ring iyon ay magpapasiklab ang bandang Eraserheads sa SMDC Festival Grounds, Parañaque City, kung saan ginanap ang kanilang reunion concert na Huling El Bimbo noong Disyembre 22, 2022.
Ini-announce iyon sa closing credits ng documentary film na Eraserheads: Combo on the Run na nag-special screening nitong Marso 20, Huwebes, sa Gateway Cinema 5 Atmos, Cubao, Quezon City.
Sabi ng producer na si Francis Lumen sa talkback after the screening: “This is again experiemental, no. You know, producing a concert and promoting it is quite a challenging task.
“One way, sabi namin, what about using the movie as a promotional tour to promote the May 31 Eraserheads Electric Fun Music Festival?
“Which they, the band members, also will help promote the other OPM bands. And I think that’s a great gesture. May 31, abangan niyo iyan!”

ERASERHEADS IS HERE TO STAY
Susog ng Eheads vocalist na si Ely Buendia, “Yeah, medyo hindi pa namin napapag-usapan with the way you… but…
“I guess this is for the fans again. You wanted more. By this time, I think tama na yung reunion-reunion na iyan.
“Wala nang huling Huling El Bimbo. We’re here to stay.”
Malakas ang palakpakan at hiyawan ng fans.
Dagdag ni Ely: “Until we break up again. Yeah, we just wanted a new concept na parang, ‘Ahh, baka sila na naman iyan,’ di ba?
“So we just wanted to have a music festival where our fans and the people, artists that we admire, can share the stage with us.”
Palabas ang Eraserheads: Combo on the Run mula ngayon, Marso 21, Biyernes, hanggang Marso 23, Linggo, sa mga sinehan nationwide.
Totoo ba iyong naulinigan namin na may sorpresa ang Eraserheads sa screening ng nasabing documentary mamayang 7:00 P.M. sa Gateway Mall?

Maliban kina Ely Buendia at Francis Lumen, present sa talkback session ang writer-director ng Eraserheads: Combo on the Run na si Maria Diane Ventura, at ang kinatawan ng distributor na si Rico Gonzales.
Si Diane ay ex-wife ni Ely.
Pagsisiwalat ni Diane, halos tatlong taon bago nabuo ang naturang documentary. Kinunan iyon sa tatlong bansa.
“We started in the Philippines. I followed them dun sa world tour nila. Tapos we were doing the sound mix in Berlin,” sabi ni Diane.
Labindalawang (12) hard drives na tigwawalong terabytes ang archives na sinuyod ni Diane upang mabuo ang narrative ng documentary.
Dagdag ni Diane: “But in terms of the shoot, I think, getting these four guys together who are ‘notorious’ for you know being aloof, being you know distant and detached…
“To get them together, to sit down and be vulnerable, and talk about things that people don’t normally want to talk about, I think yun, that was difficult.”
Bumaling si Diane sa ex-husband, “Was it difficult, Ely?”
Sagot ni Ely, “Tapos na ang interbyu… I don’t know. I guess it was difficult to express again what we experienced.
“But it was also a joy to relive the past. It’s a roller-coaster like everything else in life.”

Noong 1989 nabuo sa UP Diliman ang bandang Eraserheads nina Ely Buendia, Raymund Marasigan, Marcus Adoro, at Buddy Zabala.
Ano ba ang iiwang legacy ng Eraserheads?
Tugon ni Ely, “With regards to the band, I think it still remains to be seen how or what our legacy is.
“But in terms of the film, I think that the film leaves a legacy of parang the lesson that you should not give up on your friends.
“And kahit they leave the stage along the way, even sobrang sama ng mistake nila, or you think you’ve been hurt by someone…
“If they really, really are sincere of being redeemed, and really making the effort ahh to make things right, I think everyone deserves a second chance.”
