Kaugnay sa nangyayari ngayon sa Israel, very timely ang restaging ng Joseph the Dreamer at release ng music video ng kantang "Blessings."
Ang umpisa ng kanta:
We pray for blessings, we pray for peace
Comfort for family, protection while we sleep
We pray for healing, for prosperity
We pray for Your mighty hand
To ease our suffering

Pagbabalik-tanaw ni Gary Valenciano: “The first time I heard it, I was alone. Because I used to drive out on my own, and every Monday was my day.
“So I would go all the way to Tagaytay to have a late merienda. So I went.
“When I go out for those moments, it’s just me on my own, you know. I think, I write music. I text friends I haven’t texted in a while. I pray and all that.
“And on the way home, randomly lang… I just said, what’s up with the latest inpirational music?
“That was the song I heard. And I had to pull over. Because my tears just started to flow.”

Kinanta na ni Gary Valenciano nang solo ang "Blessings" sa New Year event noong 2018 o 2019 sa BGC, Taguig City.
“It was right after my whole ordeal,” sambit ni Mr. Pure Energy.
“I did that song but as a soloist. But I like it the way it is now, the way it is a duet between two guys. Eksakto.
“This is how I would have really wanted to do it.”
Anong mensahe ng kanta ang nag-resonate sa kanya?
“Kasi ano, e, when you talk about blessings, it usually brings a smile, di ba, to people’s faces,” tugon ng 60-anyos na mang-aawit.
“Na, ‘Wow, how is your son?’ ‘Ahh, he’s such a blessing!’ ‘How are your studies?’ ‘Oh, Sir Gary, I was so blessed!’ ‘How is work?’ ‘Naku, Sir, I’m so blessed! I have a wonderful boss, I have wonderful people. I have wonderful friends.’
“But then there’s also the blessings that don’t come that way, you know. Where it could be through a loss, or through a breaking moment.
“Or even through rejection, you know. That you only get the blessing behind it later on.
“That’s really what it is! Blessings in disguise. What might seem to be really bad may actually be a blessing in disguise,” saad ni Gary.
“That’s really what resonated with me! 'What if our blessings come through raindrops? What if our healing comes through tears…'
“Those statements carry a lot of what people are really crying from within.
“So I must say, with name of the song being 'Blessings,' I’m really blessed that I’ve been given a chance to do this song.
“Like what happened with 'Warrior Is A Child.' I just wanted to sing lang naman the song live, e.
“Di ko pala alam na naging favorite song pala ni Rico Yan, di ba? And then it took off.
“This one, when RJ and I do it, you can hear a pin drop, e.
“Some people bring out their phones, but after the first few lines, people just put it down and they just listen to what the song is saying.
“Tumatagos kahit papaano.”
