Ipinost ni Direk Rodina sa X (dating Twitter) noong Oktubre 16, Huwebes ng gabi, na na-X ang Dreamboi sa unang review ng MTRCB.
“Ang sakit,” ani Direk Rodina. “hirap magkwento, grabe. 85 mins lang kami.”
Naghimutok din noong Thursday night sa X ang bidang si EJ, dahil second movie niya ito na siya ang lead at na-X ng MTRCB.
Hinaing ni EJ, oras na yata para magbago siya ng career.

Oktubre 17, Biyernes ng hapon, mahaba ang hanash ni Direk Rodina sa Facebook at X.
Pagmamatwid ni Direk Rodina: “Dreamboi is a film about trans desire — about how fantasy, shame, and longing shape the lives of trans women. It follows Diwa, who turns to audio porn to feel something again, until a secret habit of eavesdropping on a stranger having sex in a basement toilet spirals into obsession.
“When she discovers the man is also her favorite anonymous audio porn actor, fantasy collides with reality.
“Through Diwa’s descent — six floors below her building, into a hidden space where she revives her hunger — I wanted to explore how imagination can be both erotic and destructive, a place where survival and pleasure overlap.
“Desire, especially for trans women, is often messy, fractured, and shameful. But it is also ours.
“As a trans filmmaker, I am drawn to the unspoken intimacies of our lives — what we allow ourselves to feel in private, what we fear showing in public, and how we reclaim our right to desire.
“This film is not about respectability; it is about confronting the hunger that makes us human.
“And since the real world wants us dead, then here, in this cinematic universe, the dolls get to live — and we get to live with pleasure.

Habang nasa MTRCB office si Direk Rodina Singh nitong Oktubre 21, Martes, para idepensa ang Dreamboi sa third review, nag-post sa Facebook ang premyadong direktor na si Antoinette Jadaone.
Ani Direk Antoinette: “THE TENACITY OF Rodina Singh
“In a few hours, my good friend, writer-director Rodina Singh will make her third appeal to the MTRCB for her film Dreamboi. It was given an X rating twice.
“Rodina is a trans woman filmmaker who made this film with nothing but P2M, a dream, and the support of friends who believed in her. What kept it alive was her tenacity, her refusal to give up even when the odds were against her.
“Dalawang beses na itong na-X. Nung pangalawang X, tumawag siya’t umiiyak. Pagod na si anteh ko.
“Pero for one hour lang. Bangon na uli, edit na uli. Ilalaban niya ito. Kasi kwento niya ito. Danas niya ito.
“A trans woman telling the story of the trans woman. Kasi danas niya ito.
“Dreamboi is not pornography. I have seen the scene in question, and it’s a moving, messy, beautiful exploration of trans desire.

Hindi lang ang Dreamboi ang CineSilip 2025 entry na na-X ng MTRCB.
Na-X din sa unang review ang erotic horror movie na Haplos sa Hangin, kung saan tampok sina Martin del Rosario, Denise Esteban, Angelica Cervantes, Vincent Pajara, at Jorrybell Agoto, sa direksyon ni Mikko Baldoza.
Maging ang original poster ng Haplos sa Hangin ay na-disapprove at hindi puwedeng i-display sa mga sinehan, kaya pinalitan.
“Actually, pag may mga ganyan, nase-censor, natsa-challenge din yung creativity namin, nung team,” sabi ni Martin noong Oktubre 18, Sabado ng gabi, sa PETA Theater Center, New Manila, Quezon City matapos ang pagtatanghal ng dulang Anino sa Likod ng Buwan.

HAPLOS SA HANGING GETS R-18 RATING

Kalakip ng post ni Arden Rod ang screening schedule ng Haplos sa Hangin.
Ang premiere nito ay Oktubre 22, Miyerkules ng 3:00 P.M., sa Cinema 3 ng Market! Market!.
Sa kaparehong venue this Wednesday, 5:30 P.M. ang premiere ng Pagdaong, at 8:30 P.M. ang premiere ng Dreamboi.
Pinost din ng Southern Lantern Studios sa Facebook ang schedule ng Haplos sa Hangin.
Napag-alaman ng PEP Troika na maging iyong omnibus poster ng CineSilip 2025 ay kinailangang palitan dahil sa isang objectionable picture sa reel.

Kasabay ng 1st CineSilip filmfest sa opening day ang film version ng dulang Walong Libong Piso, kung saan bida si Paolo Gumabao, sa panulat at direksyon ni Dante Balboa.
R-16 ang MTRCB rating ng Walong Libong Piso, kaya nakahinga nang maluwag ang producer na si Engr. Benjie Austria at line producer na si Dennis Evangelista.
