“His previous work speaks for itself kaya it’s always a pleasure working with Direk Topel. Kasi I know he adds another level of quality to VMX films.
“Sa film na ito, Direk motivated me to ‘re-visit’ yung totoong nangyari para mas accurate ang film.
“We both wanted the film to be a proper representation of what happened para maging awareness din sa mga tao to be careful with who you trust.”

Itong Scandal Queen ba ay part ng moving on and healing process niya?
“Emotional release yung film na ito para sa akin,” sabi ni Nico.
“Kasi sa totoong buhay, I wasn’t given the opportunity to confront the girl who videoed me. Dito sa film, I was given the chance to go through that scenario.
“All the feelings of adrenaline, panic, anger, acceptance, etc. all came back to me.
“Madali nga i-internalize yung character kasi all those feelings were still raw. I think this film has allowed me to heal and also forgive.”

“It’s hard to say if ever mareresolba ito. Justice hasn’t been served yet sa babae o sa sindikato,” tugon ni Nico Locco.
“Unfortunately, totoo ang sinasabi nila that everything is better in the movies. That might be the case here din.
“The best action para mahuli yung sindikato is for all the victims to get behind this and work together. With of course, a strong legal team.”
MR. GAY WORLD PHILIPPINES 2026 HOST
Kinuha siyang host sa coronation night ng Mr. Gay World Philippines 2026, in time for the celebration of Gay Pride.
Ally ba siya ng LGBTQIA+ community?
“Yes!! Excited at proud ako to be hosting for Mr Gay World for the second time. Lalo na since it’s Pride month,” sey ni Nico.
“I’ve always been an ally and supporter of the LGBTQIA+ community and I only hope more appreciation goes to their community in the future.
“Ramdam ko talaga ang support nila sa akin. Some of my biggest fans are part of the community kaya grateful ako sa kanila.”
Anu-ano pa ang mae-expect sa kanyang projects para sa second half of 2026?
“Blessed po ako. Marami akong on-going at big projects coming up. Currently working on a big mainstream film (di ko pwedeng sabihin ang title) and we will be shooting until the end of July,” pagsisiwalat ni Nico.
“Balik din po ako sa TV under GMA network, may exciting role ako sa Whispers From Heaven with Bea Alonzo.
“Aside from the usual hosting and DJing sa events, I also continue to work sa film internationally. Meron akong big US film starting in August. Lots of great things to look forward to.
“Hindi ideal yung nangyari sa akin with the scandal and everything pero I truly believe God works in mysterious ways. There is always a silver lining.”
