Aniya: “I think, once I became confident in Thai language, it opened more doors for me to do more acting work.

“And another thing was… it actually was modelling that made me consider an acting career.

“I had a runway show...And there was a director in the audience who was watching. And she said, ‘Oh, you look really the type of character I’m trying to cast for.'

“She asked, ‘Are you interested in acting?'

“I answered, 'Of course I’m interested.' Now, I’m fully an actor. I have done three to four TV series.”

FLUENT IN ENGLISH

“I think the advantage of that is I can go to countries like the Philippines, where people speak in English, and talk to them, speak about culture references that we share.

“That's because of my mixed culture experiences in the past. And I think it also makes me understand more because of my experiences, and different cultures just growing up,” sabi pa ng 22-year-old na si Tate.

WILLING TO WORK IN THE PHILIPPINES

“I would love to work in the Philippines as an actor. I think that the Philippines and Thailand have a lot of similarities.

Sabi pa ni Tate: “My first impression is that, everybody is very nice. Everybody always greets you with a smile and like everybody has a high level of engagement with the things that I’m doing.

“And being able to work with such talented people like videographers, photographers, and directors here with the campaign that we did, it made me realize that, well, there are tons of people in the Philippines that I would love to work with as long as I can.”
