Wala pa kaming nakuhang bagong figures pero malakas pa rin ang buzz nito sa Pinoy cineastes.
Facebook post ng Cinema Exhibitors Association of the Philippines (CEAP) recently, everyone’s talking about The Odyssey and it’s still the No. 1 movie.

Pinakabida sa The Odyssey si Matt Damon bilang Odysseus, the legendary Greek king of Ithaca.
Gumanap si Tom Holland bilang Telemachus, prinsipe ng Ithaca, anak nina Odysseus at Penelope (Anne Hathaway).
Pumapel naman si Zendaya bilang Athena, diyosa ng wisdom, warfare, and handicraft.
Prinotektahan ni Athena si Odysseus sa paglalakbay nito.
TOM AND ZENDAYA IN SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY
Ang mag-asawang sina Tom Holland at Zendaya ay mga bida rin sa super-hero film na Spider-Man: Brand New Day, na magpapayanig na sa local cinemas umpisa bukas, Hulyo 29, Miyerkules.
Itong Spider-Man: Brand New Day ang 38th film sa Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Ikaapat ito sa MCU Spider-Man film series.
Nauna rito ang Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), at Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021).

Ang tanong — merong bang pelikulang Pinoy na sasabay sa opening ng Spider-Man: Brand New Day?
As we write this, wala pang naibalita ang CEAP, maging ang website ng Click The City.
Kung walang Pinoy film na makikipagsalpukan sa Spider-Man: Brand New Day, ibig sabihin, five weeks nang walang bagong Filipino movie sa local cinemas.
Luma yung Ang Babaeng Walang Pakiramdam na ipinalabas exclusively sa SM Cinemas umpisa Hulyo 22.
Noong Hunyo 11, 2021 pa ito nag-streaming sa Vivamax (na ni-rebrand bilang VMX).
At least, sa Agosto 5, ay nakapuwesto na ang horror movie na Rosario kung saan bida sina Aubrey Caraan, Lance Carr, at Jairus Aquino.

Agosto 6-18 ang Cinemalaya 22: Reel Reflections.
Ang opening film na Enjoy Your Stay ay libreng mapapanood sa Agosto 6, Huwebes ng 7:30 P.M., sa dalawang sinehan ng Shangri-La Plaza, EDSA cor. Shaw Blvd., Mandaluyong City.
