GORGY RULA
Bahagi ng FB post ni Carlo nitong Agosto 3, 2026, Lunes ng umaga: “Sadly, Nanay Jobert passed away yesterday due to cardiac arrest (heart failure), as explained by the doctors at the Philippine Heart Center.
“During the incident, he suddenly collapsed and fell, causing him to hit his head, which resulted in the bruise on his forehead and the cut on his lips.
“His wake is currently being held at Loyola Memorial Chapels & Crematorium – Commonwealth, and everyone who wants to visit is welcome anytime until August 6, 2026.”
LAST MOMENTS OF JOBERT SUCALDITO
Pagsisiwalat ni Carlo: “A few weeks ago, Nanay was rushed to Providence Hospital because he really wasn't in good condition.
“The doctors recommended that he be admitted to the ICU, but if you all know Nanay, alam niyo kung gaano siya katapang at katigas ang ulo in the best way possible.
“He wanted to keep fighting and continue enjoying life, and he kept saying, ‘Kaya ko!’ at ‘Okay ako!’
“As his son, I respected his decision. With the help of Daddy Doc, Chaps Manansala, Maine Nieto, and everyone else who helped us during that time, we were able to bring him home.
“Thank you so much to all of you who showed your love, concern, prayers, and never stopped checking on him. We truly appreciate all of you.
“The last two weeks we spent together became some of the most unforgettable moments of my life.
“We went on road trips, visited places he enjoyed, shared meals, laughed together, and simply spent quality father-and-son time.
“Looking back, we noticed that his body was slowly getting weaker, but he never complained and never wanted anyone to worry.
“He always made us believe that he was okay, even when he probably wasn't.
“We're just grateful that we were able to spend those last moments with him doing the things that made him genuinely happy.”
Sa mga nagtatanong kung paano makakatulong…
“If you wish to send an abuloy/donations, any amount will be deeply appreciated,” post ni Carlo.
“We kindly ask that it be sent only to Nanay Jobert Sucaldito's GCash account. +63 918 908 0322
“Please don't send it to any other account so we can properly acknowledge and personally thank everyone who extended their help.
“For any questions or updates, you may message me directly or send a message here on Nanay's Facebook account.
“On behalf of our family, thank you so much for all the love, prayers, messages, and support you've shown Nanay and our family during this difficult time.
“Rest easy, Tatay. I love you, and I'll miss you every single day.”

JERRY OLEA
JOBERT SUCALDITO'S FACEBOOK POST
Bahagi ng FB post ni Jobert (published as is): “I am going thru anxiety and all the last 2 months. I can't sleep in my house literally- as in.
“Imagine, 1 and1/2 hours lang tulog ko everyday for more than a month. Scary sobra.
“Kaya kinapalan ko talaga mukha ko na tumambay sa Adonis Mankind everyday —natutulog ako sa folding bed sa dining room niya before and during bar operations and during the day ay kasama ko mga staff ni Daddy Doc sa bar's sofas.
“Kahit papaano nakakatulog ako ng 5 hours kahit paputol-putol. Sobrang bait ni Daddy Doc — pinapakain pa niya ako every now and then — para akong legally adopted border niya…”
“Thanks too sa anak kong si Carlo Brian and apong si Lenlen na sinasamahan ako sa bahay, my brother Bong and sister Jackie for constantly checking on me.
Again, Daddy Doc — I owe you my life. Thanks for the unconditional love in the name of friendship.
“May God bless us all.”
ALVIN CUNANAN MOURNS JOBERT'S PASSING
Facebook post ni Alvin: “A very young Jobert Sucaldito, who later became a well respected Philippine Showbiz columnist and broadcaster, holding the fun makeshift bouquet he put together because he had no flowers to congratulate me with after my stage play in 1984.
“He was always the first to greet me on my birthday and continued calling me ‘Baby’ even as we grew older! Rest in peace, buddy!”

NOEL FERRER
Rest in peace, Jobert.
God bless us all!
