Doon gaganapin ang gala ng siyam na feature-length films at dalawang sets ng short films.
Sa Shangri-La Plaza rin ang screening ng opening film na Enjoy Your Stay, at closing film na Filipiñana, maging ang exhibition ng animated docufiction na 58th, at paglulunsad ng tatlong aklat.
Ang partner venues ay Gateway Cineplex sa Cubao, Quezon City, at piling Ayala Malls Cinemas (TriNoma, Manila Bay, Glorietta 4, Market! Market!, at Circuit).
Ang 22nd edition ng Cinemalaya ay co-organized ng Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) at Cinemalaya Foundation, Inc., with support from the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP).
Mas mahaba ang indie filmfest this year, labintatlong (13) araw — mula Agosto 6, 2026, Huwebes, hanggang Agosto 18, Martes.
Regular tickets for Cinemalaya film screenings are priced at PHP350, with a discounted price of PHP250 for students.
A 20% discount is also available to senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWDs), national coaches, and national athletes.
Tickets are available online through the partner cinemas’ ticketing portals and onsite counters.

Q: Will there be a Festival Pass?
A: Please be advised that there will be no Festival Pass this year. Instead, bundle deals, and other promotions will be available for purchase onsite at participating cinemas.
Q: Can we avail the Balanghai Pass now at Shangri-La Plaza Cinema or Gateway Cinema?
A: The Balanghai Pass will be available starting August 7, Friday. Please note that Balanghai Pass can be availed of upon purchase of Cinemalaya T-shirt at the CCP-Cinemalaya Merch at Red Carpet- Shangrila and Gateway.
Q: When can we start buying the Cinemalaya Deals and Premiere Patrons?
A: The Cinemalaya Deals and Premiere Patrons package and other festival promotions will be available for purchase during the festival week.
Q: Am I still eligible for the PWD discount on top of my student ticket?
A: Only one (1) valid discount may be applied per ticket. Student and PWD discounts cannot be combined.
Q: Can I avail of discounts online?
A: Student, Senior Citizen, and PWD discounts are available onsite at the ticket booth, as valid IDs must be verified upon purchase.

JURY FOR MAIN COMPETITION
Ang lupon ng inampalan para sa MAIN COMPETITION ay sina filmmaker Sari Lluch Dalena, cinematographer-filmmaker Dan Villegas, independent curator/cultural critic Marian Pastor Roces, Indian filmmaker Pradip Kurbah, at Italian producer/ international events organizer Lorenzo “Lello” Carvelli.
Si Sari Lluch Dalena ay isa sa pioneers ng Philippine alternative cinema. Propesora siya sa University of the Philippines Film Institute. Tinanghal siyang best best director sa Cinemalaya last year para sa pelikulang Cinemartyrs. Recipient siya ng Fulbright-Hayes Scholarship, ganundin ng CCP Thirteen Artist Awards noong 2000.
Si Dan Villegas ay nakatatlong Balanghai trophy na para sa cinematography (2008, 2010, at 2024). Nag-debut siya bilang direktor sa coming-of-age film na Mayohan noong 2010. Best cinematographer din siya ng Gawad Urian last year para sa Cinemalaya film na Kono Basho.
Marian Pastor Roces is an internationally recognized independent curator, cultural critic, and policy analyst. Her works have shaped conversations on art, politics, museums, and cultural heritage both in the Philippines and abroad. Her decades-long practice has included curating major museums, Philippine pavilions at World Expositions, and influential writings on culture and society.
An award-winning filmmaker from Meghalaya, director Pradip Kurbah has been instrumental in bringing Khasi-language cinema to international audiences. His works have earned distinctions at the Moscow International Film Festival, Busan International Film Festival, and India’s National Film Awards. His continued advocacy for regional cinema has helped strengthen independent filmmaking in Northeast India.
Italian producer and international events organizer Lorenzo “Lello” Carvelli brings extensive experience in film production and international cultural events, including collaborations with the Cannes and Venice film festivals. Since expanding into filmmaking, Carvelli has worked on numerous international productions.
JURORS FOR NETPAC Award
Ang panel ng Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema (NETPAC) Award sa Cinemalaya 22: Reflections ay binubuo nina filmmaker and educator Alvin Yapan; Chinese filmmaker and film scholar Haolun Shu; and director, producer, and media executive Perci Intalan.
Alvin Yapan has long been recognized for works that have earned honors from the Gawad Urian, Cairo International Film Festival, and Philippine literary institutions. Alongside his filmmaking practice, he continues to mentor young artists as a faculty member at Ateneo de Manila University.
Filmmaker and Shanghai Film Academy faculty member Haolun Shu brings an international academic and artistic perspective, with films screened and recognized in festivals across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. His work spans documentary and fiction filmmaking while actively contributing to film education in China.
Perci Intalan, whose extensive work as a director, producer, and co-founder of The IdeaFirst Company, has championed Filipino stories that have resonated locally and internationally. His longstanding relationship with Cinemalaya includes producing and directing films that have garnered NETPAC recognition and international festival acclaim.
