Magkatambal sina Sky Quizon at Migs Almendras sa vertical series ng KayaFlix na Sa Dulo’t Dulo. BL (boys love) series ito.
Ano ang pinakamahirap na eksenang ipinagawa sa kanila ng direktor na si Maki Javier?
“Yung ulan. Tumatama sa contact lens ko yung tubig,” sagot ni Migs sa mediacon noong Agosto 12, 2026, Miyerkules, sa Sine POP, St. Mary St., Cubao, Quezon City.
Pagsisiwalat ni Sky: “It’s very challenging to mount a story nang isang araw… kidding aside, it’s really hard to mount, as in akala ko imposible na ma-mount ang isang vertical drama in a day.
“Tapos ang pinakamahirap para sa akin is, sa kuwento po kasi namin, merong mga flashbacks. From college to the present time.
“E, siyempre, pag sinu-shoot yan, it’s not chronological. So, mga limang beses na kailangang palitan yung buhok ko, kailangang palitan yung make-up, kailangang palitan yung hair.
“Tapos may mga ulan kami na mga tatlo. So nabasa, papalitan uli. I think that was the most challenging part for me.
“Kasi I had to do my hair again. Kasi medyo mahaba yung hair ko when we were shooting. So, medyo mahirap po siyang ayusin.
“So, yung time constraint. But it was a challenge. It was a challenge na mabuo’t matapos while we were doing yung mga OK, bibihis, tapos mababasa, mag-aayos uli ng buhok.
“All of those are heavy scenes. Lahat po yon ay mga iyakan. Lahat yun ay confrontations.
“So, may ngarag. May ngarag na parang ano, matatapos ba ito, at the same time, pagdating mo dun, mabigat yung eksena.”
Dagdag ni Migs, “Despite that, napaka-efficient kasi nung prod. They really worked, yeah. Because we really had to maximize the amount of time given to complete such a compressed story.”

Nakakakilig ba ang kanilang BL series? Kinilig ba ang karakter ni Sky Quizon sa karakter ni Migs Almendras?
Pagbibiro ni Sky: “Ahh opo. Kasi kung hindi naman character, I would say ‘no,’” sabay akbay kay Migs.
Pagkambiyo ni Sky: “Kidding aside siyempre ang genre natin is BL. Of course nandun yung kilig. Nandun yung pagmamahalan.
“Nandun iyung puno ng... just twinkle in your eyes pag nakikita mo yung taong ito.
“Pero more than that, I think this is a story of laying out that love isn’t really enough. It is a story of trying to find yourself in the years that have passed.
“Kung ang pagmamahal ba ay kaya bang ilaban yung meron kayo.”
Susog ni Migs: “Sa akin, will they, or won’t they? More of ganun siguro. Di ba?
“Based on sa mga karanasan niyo for five years… Parang ganun, di ba? So yun, will they, or won’t they siya.
“Push and pull of two characters with different perspectives and different places in their current life.”
KISSING SCENE IN A BL SERIES
Kung may kissing scene sa BL series, OK ba sa kanila?
Napangiti si Sky: “Tingnan po natin pero Sa Dulo’t Dulo, parang I think may mga kuwento, kagaya nito, na necessary po iyong paghalik.
“So, tingnan natin kung paano siya mangyayari.”
Singit ni Migs, “Ang tanong kasi diyan, ano bang klaseng halik?!”
Abangan daw natin kung may dila ba, kung may kagatan, doon ba sa school, o doon sa swimming pool.

Hindi natatakot si Migs Almendras na ma-typecast sa gay roles. Priority na nga niya ang maging host ng events.
Pagmamatwid ni Migs: “Kung kailan ayoko na, actually yun ang nakakatawa sa akin. Kung kailan ako ayoko na, dun naman ako hinahatak na, ‘Umarte ka dito,’ kaya dito, umarte ako.
“Salamat po! Thank you at naalala nyo ako. Personally, I don’t know with Sky, but personally I’m not afraid of being typecasted.
“If you have it, you use it to your advantage. It’s a job, you know. So for me, I’m not really too keen on it.
“If it’s a good story, if it’s a good character, I will take it. I don’t care about the gender, I don’t care about the other details.
“Sa akin lang talaga, is the story is good, and is the pay is good?! Ha! Ha! Ha!”
MIGS AND SKY ON DOING BL SERIES
Ang Sa Dulo’t Dulo ang ikalawang vertical series ni Migs.
Nauna rito ang kilig microseries nila ni Karina Bautista na Almost Lovers para sa Tiktok account ng Premiere Condoms.
Natapos din ni Migs ang BL movie na The Blue Hour, katambal si Paolo Gumabao, sa direksiyon ni Adolf Alix Jr.
Pahayag naman ni Sky Quizon: “Sa akin po siguro, it would always be a good opportunity to always tell stories of queer individuals, mga miyembro ng LGBTQIA+ community.
“So feeling ko, isa siyang pribilehiyo na nakukuha kami to play characters of queer people, to tell stories of queer people.
“Kasi hangga’t meron namang kuwento po talaga na very limited pa po, very kakaunti pa compared to heteronormal stories that we have, mas kokonti po ang meron sa queer stories.
“So hangga’t meron, hindi baleng makahon doon sa pagkakahon ng stereotype or typecasted, pagta-typecast.
“But the important thing is we’re here as actors to tell stories. Ahh tama there’s payment but pampapayaman pa po ito lalo ng ating literatura, ng ating mga kuwento sa mga queer communities.”
Nakasama si Sky sa iWant sports romcom series na Love At First Spike (2025), kung saan bida sina Emilio Daez at Sean Tristan.
