Ang mga ito ay EDJOP (R-16), Resident Evil (R-16), Runner (R-16), Run Baby Run (R-16), at The Irregular at Magic School The Movie - Yotsuba Succession Arc (R-13).
Hindi binanggit ng CEAP na showing din ngayong Miyerkules ang animated film na 58th (R-16) — exclusively sa Shangri-La Plaza, EDSA cor. Shaw Blvd., Mandaluyong City.
Ang 58th ay eligible para sa kategoryang best documentary ng 99th Academy Awards o Oscars.
Suportado ng Film Academy of the Philippines (FAP) ang Oscars campaign nito.

Pinost ng Kapuso executive na si Ms. Nessa Valdellon ang Permit to Exhibit ng 58th, na September 11, 2026 ang date of issuance, at September 23, 2026 ang date of expiration.
“The movie's focus is on the human story -- specifically the emotional toll, the agonizing search for closure, and the personal grief of families left behind,” ayon sa MTRCB.
“It is about the personal struggle of a daughter searching and waiting for a father who never came home.
“The movie utilized a blend of rotoscope animation, re-enacted personal recollections, and official archive footages from the aftermath of the 2009 tragedy.
“However, the film contains several graphic depictions of violence and gore, that may not be suitable for children below sixteen (16) years of age.”
Sabi ni Ms. Nessa sa kanyang FB post noong Setyembre 12, Sabado: “Ghost month is finally over. I believe this now as 58th's very limited permit was just released yesterday, the day after the official end of the ghost month.
“What are the odds? We reapplied for a rating and the MTRCB (we are deeply grateful to Chair Lala Sotto and the review committee) agreed to grant it this time, but only till September 23.
“Still, that was a miracle in itself. Then what Cinema could give us a 7 day screening at such short notice? Shangri-la, where we had our first sold out screening during Cinemalaya.
“Speaking of ghosts, as unreal as this sounds I feel I've been haunted by the 58 for years now and they want this story to be seen.
“58th will screen in Shang from September 16 to 22. Join us in remembering.”

Bida sina Elijah Canlas at Jodi Sta. Maria sa biopic ni Edgar Jopson na EDJOP (R-16).
Ayon sa MTRCB, ito ay may “mature historical and political themes, frequent strong language, and sustained depictions of torture, custodial abuse, extrajudicial killings, armed encounters and realistic violence.”
Paliwanag ng MTRCB, bagama’t bahagi ang mga ito ng makasaysayang naratibo ng pelikula, kailangan ng “higher degree of maturity” para maintindihan ito.
“The film’s portrayal of the Martial Law period and its historical figures is presented within the context of a biographical dramatization of events of significant public and historical interest,” dagdag ng MTRCB.

Haha!). This is, however, a comprehensive post of adoration for the performances—specifically, one performance — which, for me, was the film’s greatest power and strength…
“Totoo nga ang kasabihan na there are no small roles, only small actors! Heck, even my girlfriend is one of the actors, and siyempre, my younger brother is the m*thef*ck*n’ titular role!

Sabi pa ni Jerom: “I believe that playing Edjop is the most important role my brother has done in his filmography so far.

“Walang ibang batang aktor ang may tapang na gawin ang ginawa ni Jelo. Wala makakatumbas sa ipinamalas niyang husay, talino, at puso. FIGHT ME.

Matagumpay ang 1st National Cinema Day noong Setyembre 12, Sabado, kung saan PHP100 ang ticket price sa regular cinemas nationwide.
Dumagsa ang moviegoers sa mga sinehan. Pila-pila sa takilya.
Andaming na-sold out, kaya nagdagdag ng screenings noong late night.
Pinasimulan ito ng CEAP, at malamang na masundan next year.
Noong Setyembre 13, Linggo, ini-announce ni Film Academy of the Philippines (FAP) Director General Paolo Villaluna ang tatlong pelikulang Pinoy na eligible sa 99th Academy Awards o Oscars.
Ang mga ito ay Filipiñana para sa kategoryang best international feature, 58th para sa best documentary, at Agapito para best live-action short film.
Ginanap ang announcement bago ang book launch ng Level Up ni ka-Troikang Noel sa SMX Convention Center Manila, MoA Complex, Pasay City.
LENTE INDUCTION
Bahagi ng programa ng book launch ang induction ng walong founding members at officers ng LENTE (Entertainment Journalists Guild of the Philippines).
Ang nag-induct ay si Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, at saksi sina FAP DG Paolo Villaluna at FDCP Chairman and CEO Jose Javier Reyes.

Kaugnay sa pagdiriwang ng Philippine Film Industry Month (PFIM), marami pang pelikulang Pinoy ang libreng mapapanood sa FDCP Cinematheque Centre sa Manila, Iloilo City, Davao City, at Bacolod City.
Sa FDCP Cinematheque Centre sa Sta. Lucia St., Intramuros, Manila (katabi ng Baluarte de San Diego), palabas ngayong Setyembre 16, Miyerkules, ang Nunal sa Tubig (2:00 P.M.) at Ganito Kami Noon… Paano Kayo Ngayon? (4:45 P.M.).
Bukas, Setyembre 17, Huwebes, may dalawang screening doon ang Kodomo-tachi: Children of the War, 2:00 P.M. at 5:00 P.M.

Plump Blossom is the Philippines’ first AI-assisted animated musical feature film, na ipalalabas sa mga sinehan umpisa Setyembre 23.
