Pumangalawa sa box office ng North America last weekend ang Resident Evil, na on its weekend ay naka-$23M. Umabot na sa $103M ang domestic gross nito.
Pangatlo ang bagong bukas na survival adventure ni Brad Pitt, ang Heart of the Beast na naka-$20.04M. Ang napabalitang production budget nito ay $82M.
Pang-apat ang bagong bukas na crime drama ni Robert Pattinson na Primetime, na tinatayang naka-$19.12M. Ang production budget nito ay $15M lamang, kaya profitable ito.
FORGOTTEN ISLAND STRUGGLES AT THE BOX OFFICE
Nag-struggle sa pag-open sa fifth place ang family-oriented animated film na Forgotten Island, na naka-$13M.
Ang napabalitang production budget ng Forgotten Island ay $80M.
As of this writing ay 95% ang score ng Forgotten Island sa Rotten Tomatoes, with 96 reviews.

Kasabay ng Forgotten Island na nag-open sa local cinemas noong Setyembre 23, Miyerkules, ang AI-assisted Filipino animated film na Plump Blossom, at ang pitong full-length films ng Puregold CinePanalo 2026 filmfest.
Sa mga full-length film ng CinePanalo ay panalo sa sold-out screenings ang Multwoh: Patay na Patay Sa ‘Yo starring Sassa Gurl and Joao Constancia.
Ayon sa festival director na si Chris Cahilig ay may sold-out screenings din noong weekend ang iba pang entries na Patay Gutom, Stuck On You, Apol of My Ai, Wantawsan, Beast, at Mono No Aware.
Bukas, Setyembre 30, Miyerkules ng gabi, ang green-carpet awards ceremony ng CinePanalo 2026.
Hopefully ay makatulong sa mga panalong pelikula yung recognition na matatamo nila.

Ayon pa sa Box Office Mojo, naka-$950.6M na sa North America ang Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Ito ang unang pelikulang laumampas sa $950M ang DOMESTIC gross.
Ang isa pang pelikula na lumampas sa $900M ang domestic gross ay ang Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015) na ang domestic gross ay $936.7M.
Ang WORLDWIDE gross ng Spider-Man: Brand New Day ay umabot na sa $2.495B.
Sa talaan ng ALL-TIME WORLDWIDE grosses ay No. 1 pa rin ang Avatar with $2.923B, followed by Avengers: Endgame with $2.885B.
Nasa third place ang Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Dahil sa encore ng Avengers: Endgame, posibleng umabot sa $3B ang lifetime gross nito!
