JERRY OLEA: Tatanggap ng Camera Obscura ang pelikulang The Hows of Us sa 3rd FDCP Film Ambassadors Night sa Pebrero 10, Linggo, sa Samsung Hall ng SM Aura, BGC, Taguig City.
Ang nasabing romantic drama film ay pinagbidahan nina Kathryn Bernardo at Daniel Padilla, idinirek ni Cathy Garcia-Molina, at prinodyus ng Star Cinema.
Ayon sa sources ng PEP Troika, as of December 31, 2018, umabot na sa P915M ang kinita nito.
Ito ang highest-grossing Filipino film (hindi adjusted sa inflation), at isa sa mga pelikulang Pilipino na nagpamalas ng competitive advantage ng local films sa bansa.
Ang dalawa pang Camera Obscura awardees ngayong taon ay sina Kidlat Tahimik at Bianca Balbuena.

JERRY OLEA: Ang Camera Obscura Artistic Excellence Award ay ang pinakamataas na karangalang iginagawad ng Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) sa mga pelikula, filmmakers, at artists na nagbibigay ng inspirasyon sa Philippine film industry dahil sa kanilang tagumpay at husay sa larangan ng pelikula.
Si Kidlat Tahimik ay National Artist for Film, at binigyan ng Prince Claus Award sa Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Si Bianca Balbuena ang nag-produce ng Hele sa Hiwagang Hapis ni Lav Diaz, at Engkwentro ni Pepe Diokno.
Pinangalanan si Bianca bilang Producer of the Year sa Asian Film Commissions Network noong Oktubre sa Busan, South Korea.
“FDCP is so honored to award the Camera Obscura to Tay Kidlat, Bianca, and The Hows of Us because in addition to making 2018 such a great year for Philippine Cinema, they truly represent the best of the many sectors that make up our industry.
