Siya ba mismo ang nagsulat ng kanta?
“Yes, we’ve been working together with the team,” sabi ni Atasha sa huling gabi ng lamay ni Manay Ethel Ramos noong Setyembre 13, 2023, Miyerkules, sa Nacional Chapels & Crematory, G. Araneta Avenue, Quezon City.
“With producers, and… just before this, actually I came from the recording studio and so I’m very excited, it’s coming soon! It’s coming very, very soon!”
Ten years old pa lang si Atasha ay pangarap na niyang mag-artista. Tinapos muna niya ang pag-aaral sa United Kingdom, saka siya sumabak sa showbiz. Heto nga at singer-songwriter siya!

“So I really just wanna try everything. And this is just the first step. I just got back from graduation,” nakangiting lahad ng 21-anyos na daughter nina Aga Muhlach at Charlene Gonzalez.
“And now I’m very excited. Very excited. So see where it goes.”
Bata pa lang ay mahilig nang kumanta si Atasha. Pero ang first love daw niya ay painting. Mahilig din ba siyang sumayaw?
“I just learned dancing actually. And I love it, it’s so much fun, like a stress-reliever,” pagtatapat ni Atasha.
“And I feel like a different person whenever I’m like rehearsing, and it’s something I really enjoy and didn’t know I could learn it too.
“And now that it’s there, I was like, 'Wow! This is nice!' And imagine it’s only just the start. So we’ll see.”
Aminado si Atasha na ang kakambal niyang si Andres Muhlach ang “dancer in the family.”
“Hopefully we can dance together actually,” pagmumuwestra ni Atasha kay Andres.
Maganda kung magkaroon ng dance show silang kambal. “We’ll see if he wants,” at tinanong ni Atasha ang katabing si Andres, “Do you wanna do a dance?”
Bilang sagot ay sumayaw nang konti si Andres, at natawa si Atasha.
“Ayun, o, kita mo yan?! Kita mo, he got the moves! You know where he got it from!” bulalas ni Atasha.
“He can dance.”
Sabi pa ni Atasha, iyong hilig at husay niya sa pagkanta ay namana niya mula sa kanyang mom na si Charlene.

Ano ba ang mae-expect ng mga tao sa music ni Atasha?
“You could definitely appreciate the acoustics behind the music for sure,” tugon ng dalaga.
“I really wanted to harness instruments. I really wanted them to also speak for itself. Wow!”
First time pa lang ni Atasha na mag-record kaya hindi niya masabi kung ano ba talaga ang tunog niya.
“It’s a song that I’m very proud of.”
Ang ganda lang kasi ang entry point ni Atasha is a field that her parents never touched — kaya at least, walang pressure of comparison.
Go, Atasha, carve your own place in the sun! We shall be cheering you on!!!

Sabi pa ni Atasha, hindi love song ang first single niya. Definitely, it’s pop.
Nakaimpluwensiya sa music niya si Gary Valenciano.
“I saw his concert recently. Ang ganda! It got me so inspired,” sabi ni Atasha, na inaasam na mapantayan man lang ang energy ni Gary.
Matatandaang nagkasama sina Gary at Aga sa Viva movie na Hotshots (1984), sa direksiyon ni Jeric Soriano.
