Her dad is the actor Gerard Pizarras, who starred in the Kapuso TV series Encantadia (2005) and Love & Lies (2013), and the Kapamilya drama series Wildflower (2017), among others.

Before going to college at the Ateneo de Manila University, Rian used to be a homeschooler.
Recently, Jan and Gerard opened up about how they managed to homeschool Rian and Raine for seven years.

Jan said, "Parent educator is what it’s called, so seven years ko na yung ginagawa.
"So naka-enroll kami as a family sa provider, meaning para ma-credit yung mga itinuturo ko.
"And we decided to enroll in the U.S. so technically U.S. graduate sila.
"Ginagamit namin yung curriculum ng American school, accredited doon. Para i-honor din yung mga units na itinuro mo sa anak mo.
"That’s why yung daughter namin, after ko siyang mag-homeschool hanggang senior high, she’s now enrolled at the Ateneo."
In an exclusive interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in 2020, the 44-year-old celebrity mom said she was confident about Rian pursuing a college degree at the height of the pandemic when online learning was the standard mode of education.
Jan said, "Ang lakas ng loob ko lalo kasi Rian is a homeschool graduate. Sanay mag-aral sa loob ng bahay. She's ready for this.
"By God's grace, Rian passed in all the schools that she applied for. Hindi magpapahuli ang mga homeschooled kids!"
CAREER
5. Rian loves to sing.
All records of Rian's social media footprint do not fail to mention her passion for music.
She is currently signed with Viva and Blacksheep Records Manila, and has since produced her single "C-5."
In September 2020, Rian posted a screenshot of her song being on Spotify's list of most streamed songs under the Pinoy alt rock genre.

Rian wrote, "Happy to be in playlists dominated by men! I even made it somewhere near the top...
"Stream 'C-5' and support women like me in the music industry!"
She also appeared on the Wish FM 107.5 bus back in October 15, 2020.

On social media, she captioned the milestone: "A wish came true."
Jan, in a lengthy post marking Rian's 19th birthday, described her daughter as a "very determined musician/songwriter."
She wrote, "She got signed for a record label/management company without namedropping us or using any of our little influence or connection.
"The label manager did not even know we were her parents until he saw us during their meeting."
Rian's first gig ever was at the Conspiracy Garden Cafe, where she covered the song "Cool Ka Lang."
CHRISTIANITY
6. She is a proud devout Christian.
Just like her parents, Rian is an active member of the Christ's Commission Fellowship (CCF).

She regularly posts their church gatherings as well as praise and worship sessions.
Rian has also sang, performed, and played host in the church's activities.
