AGB Nielsen Mega Manila Ratings (Sept 4-6, 2015): Eat Bulaga holds 9 out of 10 highest rated episodes in 2015 due to AlDub phenomenon

Here are the highlights of the comparative ratings of GMA-7, ABS-CBN and TV5 programs from September 4-6, 2015, according to AGB Nielsen Philippines survey among Mega Manila households.

Eat Bulaga! made ratings history in 2015 again with its September 5 episode, which featured the first meeting between Alden Richards and Yaya Dub (played by Maine Mendoza).

Now known as the #ALDUBBATTLEForACause episode, it showed AlDub got to see each other briefly but they were separated by plywood dropped by Lola Nidora (Wally Bayola).

The particular episode scored 39.5%, versus It’s Showtime’s 8.7%.

The September 5 Eat Bulaga! episode now has the highest rating for 2015.

It will be noted in the table below that all of the top-rating Eat Bulaga! episodes featured the phenomenal AlDub tandem.

The August 8 episode, for instance, happened to be Day 21 of the "Kalye-Serye." It featured the so-called #Yakie wedding that was supposed to take place between Yaya Dub and Frankie (played by Jose Manalo).

GMA-7 also took the lead on weekday primetime with the Megan Young-starrer,Marimar.

Its September 4 episode got 22.8%, against Nathaniel’s 18.2%.

The Kapuso network also aced the weekend with Magpakailanman, Sunday Pinasaya, and Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho.

Sunday Pinasaya was the No. 1 daytime program on September 6, registering 23.5% over ASAP 20’s 10.5%.

The September 5 Magpakailanman episode featured a story of prostitution, starring Cherie Gil and Gabbi Garcia.

It scored 26.5% versus ABS-CBN’s Boses ng Bulilit Muling Bibirit concert at 18.5%.

Boses ng Bulilit Muling Bibirit is a concert for the finalists of the recently-concluded The Voice Kids Season 2. The televised special, which aired on September 6, got a TV rating of 17.8%, losing to another GMA-7 show, Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho with 29.5%.
