AGB: Eat Bulaga! and Sunday Pinasaya rule weekend daytime; The Voice Kids dominates Sunday primetime ratings

GMA shows led majority of the time slots, including daytime shows on two Saturdays and Sundays, and primetime on Saturdays.

But the Kapamilya channel had a strong showing on Sunday primetime.

First placer on August 13, Saturday, was Eat Bulaga!, which gained a nine-point advantage against It's Showtime, 24.7% to 15.7%.

The longest-running noontime show also nabbed the top spot on August 20, Saturday. It had a 21.1% rating versus It's Showtime's 15.2%.

Then, Sunday Pinasaya took the spot on August 14, Sunday.

It also had a huge gap against ASAP. The Kapuso comedy variety show had 19.5% while ASAP only had 10%.

This was repeated on August 21, Sunday, but the gap is lower. Sunday Pinasaya rated 16.5% while ASAP had 11.2%.

24 Oras Weekend clinched first place on both August 13 and August 20, getting about a 7 to 10 point lead over TV Patrol Weekend.

But Sunday primetime was topped by an ABS-CBN show.

It stood its ground on both August 14 and 21 with The Voice Kids, the singing competition getting higher ratings than GMA-7's Ismol Family for two straight nights.

It was the show's sing-offs for Team Bamboo and the semi-finals.

On August 14, The Voice Kids got 24.6% versus Ismol Family's 19.6%.

The lead increased to 6 points on August 21: The Voice Kids had 23.9%, while the Kapuso sitcom only had 17.9%.
