For its final week, Dolce Amore got better ratings, defeating GMA-7's Descendants of the Sun on four out of five episodes.
The Kapuso Koreanovela won on Thursday night, August 25.
It should be noted, however, that the margins were not that high.
On August 25, Descendants of the Sun got a 0.2% lead over Dolce Amore, which, in turn, was 1.3% higher than the ratings of GMA's Koreanovela on August 26, final airing day of Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano's series.

Another notable development for this period was Encantadia's continued dominance over FPJ's Ang Probinsyano.
The Kapuso fantasy series won four out of five days. But the margins did not go higher than 1.5%

The battle between the two also determined which show dominated the primetime block.
Coco Martin's action series landed the top spot on August 22, while Encantadia reigned supreme from August 23 to 26.
Daytime's top spot, meanwhile, became a battleground for two Kapuso shows.
Wowowin was number one from August 22 to 24, then Eat Bulaga! clinched the win on August 25, and both shows tied on August 26.
