Despite his traumatic mauling experience earlier this year, Vhong Navarro agreed to shoot a "bugbugan scene" for his upcoming movie.

Last January, the TV host-actor was attacked by six men inside a condominium unit in Bonifacio Global City. As a result, Vhong had to undergo surgery after suffering from facial fractures, contusions, and deformity of the nasal bridge.

The actor was given time to recuperate before resuming shooting for the horror comedy film Da Possessed, which is directed by Joyce Bernal.

Direk Joyce was able to visit Vhong at the hospital and she saw the extent of his injuries.

She also expressed concern about the fact that they were tasked to shoot a 'bugbugan' scene that might remind Vhong further of his ordeal.

“Baka ma-trauma siya lalo, kaya bahala na," said Direk Joyce in a previous interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal).

During the March 30 press conference of Da Possessed, PEP asked Vhong how he dealt with the mauling scene needed for the movie.

How did he feel while shooting the mauling scene?

Did he get flashbacks about his harrowing ordeal while shooting the mauling scene?

Did he ever think of asking production to remove the scene from the movie?

SOLENN SHOWS HER UNDERWEAR. Da Possessed revolves around a simpleton named Ramon (played by Vhong) who attempts to venture into landscape art. Ramon falls for his sexy boss (played by Solenn Heussaff).

However, conflicts begin when spirits from another dimension start to possess Ramon, leading to a series of wacky and riotous situations.

The ghosts are portrayed by Aaliyah Belmoro, Empoy, and John "Sweet" Lapus.

Yung Japanese girl."

John Lapus interjected, "Sa Shaider, di ba, laging naka miniskirt yun. Labas panty.

When asked how she showed support for her leading man, she pointed out: "Si Vhong totoong Pinoy kasi, di ba, ang mga Pinoy pag may nangyari, we always come out of it with a smile. Yung support ko sa kanya, pagiging friend, and he can say anything to me.
