Hindi naitago ni Kim Chiu ang kanyang kagalakan sa panibagong tagumpay ng boyfriend niyang si Xian Lim sa larangan ng pelikula.
Sa pagkakataong ito, si Xian bilang writer at director ng pelikulang Hello, Universe! na pinagbibidahan ng singer-comedian na si Janno Gibbs.
Sa Instagram ngayong araw, January 26, 2023, ipinagsigawan ni Kim sa mundo kung gaano siya ka-proud sa boyfriend na natapos nang maayos ang pelikulang matagal na nitong naisulat at napaglaanan ng oras.

“Congratulations, @xianlimm, for #HELLOUNIVERSE [globe emoji] you put your heart into this project.”
Ayon pa kay Kim, ibinuhos ni Xian ang kanyang oras at enerhiya sa pet project dahil tinutukan nito ang lahat ng detalye mula sa pagsusulat, production, at post-production.
Saad niya, “During the pandemic lockdown, you told me about this movie, and you wrote it all. Put your heart/soul and effort.
“Revisions, sleepless nights just by thinking how this story will flow, putting the actor Xian Lim aside and just being focused behind the camera as the writer and director of this film.
“I AM EXTREMELY PROUD of you, my [love]. Until the last few days, nakabantay ka sa editing to make sure everything is fine.
“Till the hours before t[h]e premiere night nandun ka 3pm palang chineck mo na if everything is okay and many more!!!! Iba yung dedication mo. Hands down.

Ang Hello, Universe! ng Viva Films ang unang directorial job ni Xian para sa isang major theater release.
Ang directorial debut film niyang Tabon noong 2019 ay limitado lamang sa mga manonood ng Cinemalaya Film Festival.
