FELIP’S SCENT GAME

One of the first things Felip opened up about was the value of smelling good, especially when meeting someone for the first time.

For him, it's not just about personal hygiene—it’s an extension of confidence.

“Importante siya as an artist. Ah, hindi lang pag bilang artist ah. Kahit, you know, in every day, ano mo lang, kapag may lakad ka, it's important to smell good,” he said, emphasizing how scent goes beyond appearances.

He continued, “And nakaka-boost siya ng confidence. Especially, for example, like, mabango yung breath mo. While talking to people, like meeting new people. So, yeah, it gives so much confidence sa tao.”

When asked about his preferred perfume type, Felip kept it real and practical—especially with the Philippine climate in mind.

“Um, 'pag perfume siguro, mas ano ako sa fresh kasi mainit kasi sa Pilipinas, e, So, um, gusto ko yung cool na ano, na scent and fresh lang,” he explained.

NOOD KA MUNA!

He knows what works for him and sticks to it.

It’s simple: fresh is best, especially when it helps you walk taller and speak with ease.

FELIP ON DATING COOL

Despite being one of the most admired celebrities in the country, Felip stays humble when it comes to his dating life.

When asked if he’s had any embarrassing or awkward dating experiences, he chuckled and answered honestly.

“Dating. Mayroon ba? Parang wala, e,” he said with a shy smile.

He then elaborated, “Kailangan, you gotta keep your cool, di ba? Ganun, ganun dapat always kasi, siyempre ayaw mo naman na mamaya ma-disappoint sa yo yung, ano, yung dini-date mo.

"So, as much as possible, you gotta try everything, you gotta do everything just to, you know, just to impress the girl that you love or just to impress the guy that you like. So, yeah.”

Felip’s strategy? Be chill, do your best, and don’t let nerves get in the way.

But of course, even the coolest guys feel a little flutter sometimes.

When asked how he reacts to kilig moments, Felip admitted that he keeps it all in.

Laughing, he shared, “Ako naman, in terms of mga ganyang bagay, dapat ano e... Haha. I gotta stay cool. Parang ganun.”

Then, with a slight smile, he continued, “Parang, hindi ko pinapakita na... you know, kikiligin ka, but, you know naman na sa sarili mo na talagang, 'Wow' yung mga ganung klaseng feeling na kikiligin ka talaga.

"Yeah, hindi lang ako showy talaga, pero sa sarili ko naman... just keep it to myself, kumbaga, parang ganun.”

While many fans swoon loudly, Felip proves that kilig can be quiet, internal, but still very much real.

FELIP OPENS UP WITH SMILES

During the Moving Closer music video shoot, Felipe admitted that smiling doesn't come naturally for him.

“Actually, nag-struggle ako. Gaya ng sabi ko kanina, nag-struggle ako kasi ano, e, hindi ako palangiti,” he revealed.

Pointing out how the shoot brought out a new side of him, he elaborated, “But, because of this project, I learned to smile more often, especially in front of the camera.

"It's not the kind of thing that I do always, but, you know, I'm just so glad na natutunan kong mag-smile in front of people, and for myself.”

According to Felip, learning to smile wasn’t just about looking good for the camera—it was about making people feel good too.

He added, “You know kasi, na-realize ko rin na it's different when you look happy in front of many people. Nila-light up mo yung mood.”

And when it comes to fans, it seems their love is what brings out that genuine smile.

He said, “Nandun yung warmth 'pag nag-smile ka talaga. I've learned that so much na, ako kasi, hindi ako yung tipo ng tao na pala-smile, e.”

But during the watch party, he didn't hold back in showing his joy to be with his fans.

“You know, seeing my fans there, mapapa-smile ka, e, kasi, you know, the support, the love, ah, yung warmth ng love na binibigay nila sa yo, it gives you... Hindi ko siya ma-explain, e.”

His heartfelt reminder: “Hindi mo mapigilan na mag-smile ka na lang na para kang ano, na parang out of nowhere, parang ganun, na, you know, I'm just happy to see them. So, yeah, smile talaga. Mag-smile palagi.”

From the scent he wears to the silent kilig he keeps, and the smiles he’s slowly learning to embrace, Felip showed that he’s not just a performer—he’s someone continuously growing, opening up, and sharing himself little by little.
