In alphabetical order, here are the top celebrities who wowed us with their memorable style moments this year.
Moments that made us stop, look, look twice, thrice...
ANDI EIGENMANN: HOT MOMMA. Finding the perfect outfit to wear can already be daunting. How much more if you're dressing up for two?
Despite the controversy that surrounded her unexpected pregnancy, Andi Eigenmann managed to pull through with her decision to keep her baby—and to stay stylish even with a rounder belly.
The former Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin star has completely embraced her new role as a young single mom.
She also has willingly switched her dark, monotonous wardrobe with a lighter, fresher palette.
"I usually wear black or white," she told PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at the Preview Best Dressed Ball where she stepped out in public for the first time with her baby bump.
The nude sequined dress she wore from designer Sassa Jimenez was Andi's big statement saying she is more than ready to adapt to the big "changes in her life."

ANNE CURTIS: THE TRENDSETTER. There was a mix of positive and negative comments from the PEPsters, and some fashion experts, when Anne Curtis donned a see-through cutout dress at the first Philippine Fashion Ball.
Some thought it was a brilliant creation by designer Rajo Laurel.
But some thought it was too tacky and quite unflattering for the svelte Filipino-Australian star.
Nonetheless, this gauzy style of hers sparked a red carpet movement among other celebrities.
At the major events that followed, sexy actresses and models were spotted flaunting their own assets ala-Anne.
Among them were Maxene Magalona and Divine Lee, who also wore sheer black ensembles to the Esquire Ball.
Actress Lovi Poe in taupe, and film director Cathy Garcia-Molina in black sported the same fashion at the Star Magic Ball.
So, whether Anne's see-through dress was hot or not, we have to admit that Anne created a trend.

HEART EVANGELISTA, LOVI POE, MARIAN RIVERA, AND SOLENN HEUSAFF: BIG SCREEN GODDESSES. Well, they all played model search contestants in Temptation Island, so it's really not much of a surprise to see them dressed in stylish ensembles.
But for girls who got stuck in a remote island, Heart Evangelista, Lovi Poe, Marian Rivera, and Solenn Heusaff sure looked gorgeous despite their poor state.
The comical bunch made the "desert chic look" cool, even as they wildly chased a giant chicken mascot across the sprawling sand.
We must give kudos to director Chris Martinez for keeping the film's campy spirit intact.
More so for giving the movie and its leading ladies a fresher, modern, fabulous spin.

ISABELLE DAZA: NEWBIE BEAUTY. She may be a dead-ringer for her beauty queen mom but Isabelle Daza is not one to be mistaken as Gloria Diaz's copycat.
While she has been told by her mother that she can excel in comedy just as she used to back in the '70s, the 21-year-old model-TV host is carving her own niche in both fashion and showbiz.
In her stint as one of the hosts of the Miss World Philippines 2011 pageant, Isabelle stood out in long gowns by Rhett Eala, Cary Santiago, and Jun Escario.
And at the Preview Best Dressed Ball, Isabelle paid homage to her mom's iconic '70s sexy image by donning a feathered top, which was used by her mom in her early films.
The look, which she completed with a lei crown and maxi skirt by Martin Bautista, won for her a special award for being the best dressed girl at the party.

JESSY MENDIOLA: BREAKOUT STYLE. Actress Jessy Mendiola is one of the fresh faces who rocked our style senses this year.
Formerly seen in teeny-bopper outfits and conservative fashion, the 19-year-old actress bravely took on a backless dress at the fifth Star Magic Ball.
The contrast of her fair skin against the jet black satin is an unforgettable vision—one that even her own colleagues at Star Magic could not ignore.
During the gathering, Jessy was given the breakout style award for her blooming transformation.
She was also chosen by Preview Magazine to be the cover model of their Preview Girl special this month.
There is definitely something about this new girl worth watching and we are looking forward to see what else she's got under her sleeve.

JILLIAN WARD: FASHIONISTA IN THE MAKING. In a growing pool of child talents, Kapuso network's Jillian Ward is one kid who rises above ground.
She has proven herself as a likable actress in shows like Captain Barbell: Ang Pagbabalik, Andres De Saya, and Daldalita.
Her cuteness and acting talent have made fans out of people ten times her age.
She was even named one of YES! Magazine's most beautiful stars.
But as young as six years old, Jillian is already showing signs as a promising style icon with her demure fashion sense on and off screen.
Unlike other kids who wear "mature" clothes, the bubbly tot is always dressed appropriately for her appearances.
She likes to stick to the silhouettes of a fairy ball gown, much like the number she wore to the GMA Artist Center Ball.
It's cute, fun, and fluffy—a perfect match for her young playful air.

JOHN LLOYD CRUZ: CHARACTER MASTER. We're used to seeing John Lloyd Cruz as the boy-next-door type—clad in casual polo shirts, smooth trousers, and clean-cut suits.
He also shows his quirky side at times by fooling around in cut-off pants and loafers.
But when he went on to play Mateo Rodriguez in the otherworldly story of Imortal, he made us believe that he had indeed turned into a legitimate bad boy.
On and off screen, the actor brought to life his character's mysterious vampire persona wearing black leather jackets, dark-colored shirts, and tousled hair.
So even when he was already facing the public as John Lloyd, somehow he still came across as Mateo.
We know it's only a case of too much internationalization, perhaps getting much too deep into his character.
But isn't that what makes a great actor after all?

KATE MIDDLETON: CLASSIC BRIDE. We're pretty sure she'll be in every other best dressed list of 2011.
But we're calling on Duchess Catherine of Cambridge as the celebrity who will be remembered for her bridal style in the years to come.
On the day she married Britain's Prince William, the pretty commoner struck with the simple elegance of her gown, which somehow influenced the revival of the classic wedding dress silhouette.
The smooth A-line form, full-on lace sleeves, appliqués all over, and a lengthy train at 110 inches has become the benchmark of most brides-to-be.
Not to mention that she wore her hair down is a remarkable trend that she has helped propagate among modern brides.
It's been said that she was inspired by Grace Kelly's wedding dress from when she married Prince Rainier of Monaco in 1956.
But this dress was a full collaboration between Kate and Alexander McQueen designer Sarah Burton, who managed to keep the production of the dress under wraps.
It was revealed to the public only when she walked the aisle of the Westminster Abbey on April 29.

KC CONCEPCION AND PIOLO PASCUAL: THE LOVELY COUPLE. Their love affair may be over, but the image of KC Concepcion and Piolo Pascual at Star Magic Ball will remain as the most-chic romantic moment in showbiz this year.
The pair, already handsome as they are, looked even more fantastic in their matching pallid outfits.
KC, in a fancy frock by Dubai-based Filipino designer Ezra, sashayed the ballroom with her escort Piolo, who was wearing a complementing Paul Smith tuxedo.
They were all smiles that evening despite heavy rumors of a rocky relationship.
KC even dispelled those talks by proudly showing off the pair of coral and emerald earrings, apparently two of her precious stones, that Piolo gave her as a gift to match her attire.
No one thought that only a couple of months later, KC would announce their breakup.
What a sad ending for love, but at least we'll always have that stylish vision of them to cherish forever.

LUCY TORRES-GOMEZ AND RICHARD GOMEZ: TO SERVE AND TO STYLE. They've always been one of the most beautiful and stylish pairs in showbiz.
But since Leyte Rep. Lucy Torres-Gomez took her Congress seat, and Richard Gomez assumed the supporting role as his wife's chief of staff, they now have graduated into one of government's most fashionable couples.
At the recent State of the Nation Address (SONA) by President Noynoy Aquino, the couple looked simply elegant in their Filipiniana.
Lucy wore a floor-sweeping baby pink terno by her designer friend Randy Ortiz.
Richard, on the other hand, donned a classic, intricately detailed Piña Barong.
Although they were barely seen together the entire afternoon—as Lucy did some pre-show hosting duties for NBN while Richard was busy documenting the day in pictures—they still had that intriguing glam factor of a celebrity couple working hand-in-hand.

MEGAN YOUNG AND LAUREN YOUNG: YIN-YANG CHIC. They are sisters by blood, sisters at heart, and sisters under the same network and management.
But when it comes to fashion, Megan Young and Lauren Young are two siblings on opposite poles.
At the recent Star Magic Ball, they showed their individual styles in Sassa Jimenez creations.
Megan was fierce in black, while Lauren looked demure in beige.
Their looks were very distinct from each other, but equally beautiful nonetheless.
Megan is more of the dark and hippie type, while Lauren's looks are more polished and sophisticated.
It's just a contrast that somehow perfectly fits together.

NORA AUNOR: HOMECOMING QUEEN. Talk about the biggest comeback of the year.
There is just so much about the return of Nora Aunor that deserves every bit of public attention.
It started with rumors of her supposed return and the confusion about the exact date of her arrival; down to the cancellation of her movie project and everything else in between.
This is certainly a story worth following for every showbiz devotee.
But what we love most about this whole homecoming act was how the Superstar, now 58-years-old, managed to deliver something fresh to her audience.
Many thanks to the stylish team of Preview magazine's creative director Vince Uy and his stylist sister Liz Uy, Nora transformed into an endearing fashion symbol when she appeared on the covers of YES! Magazine's October issue and Preview's November issue bearing a more sophisticated look.
No, we wouldn't dare put her in the ranks of "celebrities to watch" what with her star status and all.
But we're definitely looking forward to seeing more of her chic makeovers onscreen, off-cam, and everywhere else.

PHILIPPINE VOLCANOES: GORGEOUS OUTSIDE, GORGEOUS INSIDE. If ever there was a "most controversial billboard of the year" award that would go to the Philippine Volcanoes Rugby Team.
The stalwart figures of Kenneth Capinpin Stern, Patrick Ortis Olivier, Francisco Bagis Guerra, Michael de Guzman, Nicholas Ergina Perry, Daaran Seetro, and Arnold Aninion graced the banks of the Pasig River earlier this year.
But the series of giant billboards in the EDSA-Guadalupe bridge area were soon brought down by order of Madaluyong City Mayor Benhur Abalos.
The official found them too hazardous for drivers who could easily get distracted by the supposed racy photos.
With protests from fans and artists crying restraint on freedom of expression, the issue revived the debate on what is moral versus tasteful art.
In the end, the government won and the photo billboards were wittled down to just a giant slogan.
But whether the ad was too distracting for highway drivers or too scandalous for the upright, we will always remember these athletes as the perfect picks to endorse an underwear brand.

SARAH GERONIMO: REINVENTION OF A POPSTAR Say goodbye to the timid, dull, old pop star princess because you just might not see her again.
Say hello instead to the new, improved, bolder, and sexier Sarah Geronimo who is ready to take on life and style head on.
Once upon a time, Sarah wouldn't be caught dead in a dress that showed her chest or too much of her legs.
But lately, after the singer-actress opened up about her heartbreak with ex- boyfriend Rayver Cruz, she has become less guarded about her fashion choices.
At the premiere night of her second movie with Gerald Anderson, Won't Last A Day Without You, Sarah sported a black noodle strap mini-dress.
Compared to her white sleeveless knee-length at the Catch Me I'm In Love premiere, it was far more risqué considering her wholesome likeness.
But the pop star princess said in an interview with Cosmopolitan Magazine that her image overhaul will stop there, at least for now.
Her values and overall celebrity package will still remain the same—just with an added flair of confidence.

VICE GANDA: STYLE REVOLUTION. There are many gay artists in this business, but no one like Vice Ganda has captured the taste of the masses and greatly influenced pop culture.
Besides his unique brand of comedy and witty commentaries, which people now casually use in their conversations, he is also admired for his androgynous style.
On TV, only Vice can pull off wearing a peculiar hairstyle, a dress shirt, feminine cut-off shorts, hi-cut boots, and girly accessories all together in one look without looking like a drag queen (or as someone "trying hard").
This has inspired many younger gays to become braver in expressing themselves through their style.
So the next time you see a guy on the street wearing a metal-studded jacket with his hair coifed into an unusual bun, you'll know where he got the idea.
